"Okay then, Fehda'Kialio," she spat, eyes burning with anger, although her face remained impassive. "And don't call me 'doll'! You're younger than me!" She snorted, deciding he probably didn't care what her name was. "So what if I'm dumber than you? You might be content, but hardly happy. There are differences. And maybe your pride will adopt orphans, but it depends, doesn't it?" She knew that the little brat was probably having the time of his life making fun of her.
So what if she was stupid? She knew enough as it was! "Tch. I probably should've stayed in the Pridelands with Kiji..." she said, meaning for him to overhear, but she still muttered it. "At least they're kinder than any of the others. I have to avoid the Firekin, though... those guys... dangerous..." she narrowed her eyes in thought as she stared at the cub in front of her, without really seeing him, deep in her thoughts.

Ah good, she said his full name. "What does it matter that I'm younger than you? I may call you anything I like when I am not supplied a name." He gave a wicked grin at this, because he'd never asked for a name and intended it that way. "And how do you know I'm not happy, girl?" He raised a brow. If she didn't like 'doll' she would get 'girl'. "Further more, depends on what? How much of an emotional wreck the orphan is in?" He said smoothly, certainly implying her.
"Yes, you should have. Why do you complain about not having a pride when you throw away your chances of staying with one?" He said, looking disgusted at the thought.

"What exactly are you suggesting?" she asked, sneering now. "Girl is better than doll, so I'll accept that. I believe you think yourself far too above me to inquire of my name, at any rate." She smirked right back at him. She was getting the hang of this! Or at least, she hoped so.
"Emotional wreck? I suppose that's me, as well. Yes, I'm an emotional wreck." She thought on his last words, and then gave a wicked smile. "I throw away my chances because I cannot, will not, stay in one place. I'm a wander, through and through, and because I am, I have a longing I cannot quell, a thirst that I cannot quench, and a hunger I cannot fill."
She figured that, with the wisdom that Fehda'Kialio was showing for one that was younger than her, he'd understand what she was talking about. No matter how hard she tried, she knew she couldn't just stay and settle down. Not yet, at least. She had to travel... there were places yet unexplored, and she wanted to explore. She also wanted to gain more knowledge.
After all, the cub had said she was stupid, so obviously, she was wandering around... gathering information and knowledge. What was so bad about that?

He quirked a brow at her and 'tsked' a little. "You complain about having no parents and then announce you enjoy wandering? You said before being parentless makes it harder for you to find.. a home." She said something like that, in fact she also said it made it harder to find a home. "So you contradict yourself. If you will not stay in one place you will not find a home. That isn't entirely true, of course. Because you can travel away from home and then back. But to do that you'd need to be part of the pride. And of course, you won't join a pride because you just announced you throw away your chances because you want to throw away your chances." He looked smug at proving that point, seeing as he liked proving others' wrong.
"Oh, and I am not a bove you and do not believe myself so. I simply don't care to know your name; deal with it instead of trying to make some witty remark." He yawned a little and shifted, tail flicking as he turned to go again. "Have fun traveling, girl. Im done." Meaning he was done with this conversation and done with staying here, he was heading to his den!

"So be it," she said, and turned. She wanted away from this place. Obviously, the leaders of this pride didn't teach their young manners and respect, and since he was done, she had been done as soon as she'd met him. Of course, it was hard to tell him that she contradicted herself because that was the way she was: always fighting within herself.
She wanted a home, and she wanted to settle, but she couldn't do that. Not now, not yet. And of course it made life harder without parents! She could scarcely catch her own prey herself, since she was barely old enough! It was high time she left and returned to her temporary family... a family of cheetahs, all adopted to one another, and having been kind enough to adopt her as well.
Tch... I hate cubs like this one, she thought to herself as she walked away until she could vanish into the mists this area created. Finally, she could get way from the presence of an arrogant little cub who seemed to enjoy manipulating others' minds! That cub should be in the Firekin Pride, for goddess's sake! Anyway, she never uttered a word of good-bye, just left. Take that, brat!

A pleased grin flickered across Fedha's maw, pleased as a newborn kitten with a suacer of milk. Oh how fun it was to toy with other's emotions, especially if they were deligate enough.End
