xp I just found out that I might not be able to be here either the last week of may or the the first week of June because of something about a trip to pack up some storage bin (back in chicago, which means more planes xp ). either way I think I might be going to my older sister's place to help her pack cuz shes moving in with me. I'm not too sure on the details, but Omni you may want to take me off the list incase I'm not here. I swear my sisters always had the worst timing period xp though on the plus side she might come on gaia. but yeah, untill i know for sure whats going on, you may want to put a maybe or something by my name.

I will be gone from here from May 26(Labor day weekend) thru about June 4. (I am pretty sure those are the dates) so I will be unable to help do anything...
which, hey, even if I were here, I am not sure what I would do. whee

Would it be possible to do a pirate theme avatar contest aaand a non? It seems a lot of members have the swag to be piratey, but I was thinking maybe a tektek to let the creative juices flow. xD

I would sign up for something, but seeing as my time on Gaia has now become so sporadic, I'd hate to disappoint people, that and the year is wraping up so I have a crapload of projects for finals to do and what-not.

Hopefully all shall go well, even though I most likely won't be able to supervise.

Either way, I'm cool, just wondering, I'm curious, is all. I would think that as for a pirate theme, that it would be a matter for each projec to figure out if it would fit in or not. I mean, the basic idea of the theme could just be that (beside for the avi contest which could be anything goes) we just dress up as pirates the whole time like a costume party. A pirate theme just wouldn't work for something like the Profile contest because too much work is involved to make just one profile, let alone change it for one contest. That reminds me, are we have two avi contests again? Last year Skeletina ran them, and had one crazy/silly-dress up contest, and one serious/thought-put-into-it contest. miquelet I can do some middle management on the code cracking contest... question, though...: what sort of prizes should I stock up on, pure or items...? I think we'll have enough prizes to supply all the events at this point, you don't have to supply anything else if you don't want too. You can check out the prizes we have in the mule TehPollBling's journal. If you want to make some bonus freebie giveaway for your event, by all means! Omni, I'm going to make a list of the items according to value, and separate them into 3 catagories of value. Then you can seperate and chose the 1st 2nd & 3rd place prizes for the events. 3nodding We have a ton of funds, too, you can either make major cash prizes, donate some to the Lottery, or purchase more prizes from the marketplace with the funds.

Last year there was a "noob" avatar contest where people were restricted to a certain amount of total combined item cost, a clutter contest, and a regular contest. It's up to you how you wish to do it and how many you wish to do. Ok Zath thanks.
