He chuckled and watched her. "Try and cling to the bark instead of attacking it! Then walk but slowly, letting your claws dig into the bark!" He licked at his paws and happily laid his head on his fore paws, his tail swinging from the branch looking very much like a strange leopard!

She stares at him for a few moments, trying to deside if she should fire back some heated comment to this, but droops her ears instead as she considers, then grabs for another claw hold, awkwardly trying to follow his example. Walk? More like vertical -drag-....how did he DO this anyway? It was hard on the claws and shoulders, having all her weight hanging off them, even if she's only a few inches off the ground.
"Like I said..." SHe grunts, struggling to climb higher. "Are you SURE, you're a lion?"

He chuckled, "Once you practised then you get better and your legs get stronger. Mother says when I get older I will be to heavy though, so I spend alot of time in the trees to make up for the time when I wont be able to!" He smiled watching her climbing up.

"Wouldn't it...be funny..." SHe notes, as she climbs up laboriously, now determined to make it up with him. "If Lions climbed all the time like...leopards do? And Jaguars? And that sort of thing?" She asks, inching her way up slowly, though she's now wondering if it's going to be this difficult getting -down-....but thats not the point right now. the point is showing that if he can do it, she can do it. Isn't that what she needs to do if shes going to grow up to be really impressive?

He waited for her not offering any help for the last little bit. "It would make things boring though, if lions could climb all the time, it wouldnt be something for us cubs to do to get away from the adults if they could do it to!" He chuckled and smiled watching and waiting for her, he had never been this slow!!

"Maybe I can...learn to climb...even when I'm big." She grins, making her way higher, though she pauses with every grip to make sure she's got a firm hold. "Then I could...just kinda...look down at everyone...when I'm old enough, to have to think about making cubs, and all that boring stuff."

He chuckled, "Yeah that would be pretty cool! I could help ya get started when we are a bit bigger!" He expected her to say no sharply so wasn't expecting much.

"Which means what, that you'll me my landing pad when I break all the branches?" She teases, reaching cautiously for the branch he's sprawled across. "I wonder how all that works anyway. I mean my mum and dad are obvious, they're both strong, and they like each other a lot....but how did she pick him over any other lion? I don't get it...I suppose I'll figure it out when I'm big."

He chuckled at what she said and then listened as she went on. "I dunno, I got two mothers. Though they became close frends then fell in loveor something, I dunno..." He was still confused about fathers, how was he suppose to know anything about them anyway?

"Well..." She debates, as she hauls herself up and curls around the branch for support. "You must've had a dad once...I don't think I could make cubs with another girl lion. Or we wouldn't need boy lions...I think. Maybe if the other lion was a goddess...I don't know anything about them...."

He listened and nodded, "I never understand why we exist, I think we are just big and there to laze around and be waited on, we dont need to exist from what I know... I never met an adult male lion though, only my brother." He smiled a bit but was pretty certain that males were just a waste of space and that he shouldn't exist.

"Before we were born, a really really bad lion called Nyekundu came here, because he wanted my mom, and she wouldn't have him. So he hurt her really badly, and my Dad helped her back to being healthy again. He really wanted to go try and find Nyek, but he said he couldn't leave her unprotected. It was his idea to make the grown ups watch the borders of our territory now, so that Neyekundu can never come back. He kills cubs for sport, they said. They said he boasted about it." SHe shivers. "And does really bad things to girl lions. Horrible things. I wish the Mist God would come and turn him to ash or something, he's a horrible thing. Like a monster, only he's a lion."

He listened in awe till Nyek was mention and then he snarled, it wasn't much of a snarl but it was a snarl at least. "He hurt my mum and he fathers my sister according to mother. He hurt my other mother and Ny is his daughter but mother not certain, she only thinks and I not suppose to say to anyone so dont tell!" he then went quiet, he hadn't told the secret to anyone but she mentioned the one he was told to keep away from, if he ever saw a lion with that pink who he didn't know he was to run away as fast as he could.

Sekhmet snarls softly as Nyekundu's name is mentioned, birstling at the frihgtening spectre. "He DOES do terrible things..." she hisses. "My dad will KILL him if he comes back! He will! He won't hurt anyone again!"

"Mother will to because of what he did to my other mother! I will help I will somehow I will help her, I want to get back at that brute!" He raised his head high and made himself look proud. He was going to help, he was, he was, he was and no one would stop him.
