Johnmichael Azalin Johnmichael Cyric..Killed a god even if it was with godsbane, and if you read the avatar triology he ******** over so many people. The question is who isn't screwed over by Cyric? I mean the entire pantheon of Toril HATES him with a passion, He has no allies, he was once an allied with Jergal, but Kelemvor took over and Jergal switched Alliances to serve Kelemvor. Exactly even the other evil gods hate him, and since his own book drove him mad he thinks hes the center of the universe, Also in the Faiths and Avatar book it says his favorite drink is the tears of broken hearted lovers. Faith and Avatars is a great book, so is Powers and Pantheons!

BloodOnWhitePetals Azalin And if People don't hate you for that, then become a scientoligest. eek That is the most profound statement ever acheived by mankind. Scientoligists are NASTY! One of my friends she made the misteak of signing up with them, and now she gets called an harrassed by them.....its sad really. Speaking of Cults, theres some old Forgotten Realms Books with a god called Moander, he was an anciet god of decay and rot, he was killed and now he rests on the astral. His cult still exists but its propigated by Lolth, who took over his followers, while Finder Wyvernspur took on his portfolio of rot and decay!

It's one of my favs! I have the adventure if anyone wants to try it. I have also read the Avatar Trilogy... as well most of the other FR novels... Moander is only nearly as scary as scientology...

Kobolds, they are the BEST villans here. That and the occasional gnome illusionist.
I once used a gnome illusionist as the leader for a clan of Kobolds. The party was hired to kill the gnome, however they went into the kobolds caves and were killed. It was a level 3 campaign, and they were killed by CR 2's with the occasional CR 3 trap.
The rogue never thought to search for traps because they were kobolds. Kobolds are just stupid little critters used for canon fodder. They arent smart enough to make traps. That bit of metagaming cost the party their lives.

I think its my barbarian, he killed someone good for a box, almost killed the party sorceror because the sorc had a glowing orb. He also shreds anything he kills, and uses any corpses he doesn't shred as target practice.
But, I'm up for convincing wink

word of advice, if you're a bunch of good guys with access to detect evil SCREEN YOUR ROGUES!
I know i've posted this in the Table Top Gaming forum, but LG paladin, LG cleric, NG cleric, CG ranger...CE rogue(multiclassed sorc)[me].
Party lets me get exp like none other. I kept my true intentions hidden from them. They'd send me out far ahead to scout for traps, which I easily overcame before anyone got near. At the end of the campaign i was 8 levels ahead of them, and no one knew it.
I got tired of everything and killed off my entire party so I could ascend to godhood. The gods didn't like that, so I cut ties between the planes. Thus setting us into the Midnight campaign setting.

I personally like making cults that have been made by monsters.
