Olly pulled the cover of Candyland away and began to set it up. It was too fun to pass up for the moment, and he didn't have a clue how long Liang would be staying. "What color player do you want?" he asked carefully. Sometimes it mattered, playing with the sillier, younger kids. It was almost a habit to ask. He shuffled and straightened out the deck of cards before placing them in their spot on the playing board.

She was glad that he wanted to play the easier of the two games, she wasn't very good at chinese checkers after all, and it would have upset her if she had made a mistake. Which color? Usually Teagan picked her player for her. Her feathers frazzled up a bit, and suddenly she wanted her fan. Though that would require her to get up and leave the room, and so it was out of the question. It wasn't like this was a life or death question, she just had to tell him a color. If only she could remember which colors there were so she wouldn't look dumb requesting one that didn't exist in the game. "I um.." she started, trying hard to remember what she had had last time she had played with Tea, "Red?"

Olly smiled, delighted to be able to have the desired green gingerbread man player. "Alright!" he said, and set the two up at the beginning of the colorful, winding road. The cards set up, he smiled, and sat back. "You can go first, if you want." he said, in an attempted polite gesture.

[ For a little fun, we'll have them really play. Here's the board: http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y60/Dulciespets/D-Corp/CandyLand.jpg
I'll update it with their progress as they go along. For every post where they draw a card, roll a 6 sided die. 1-Red; 2-Purple; 3-Yellow; 4-Blue; 5-Orange; 6-Green
After rolling, edit your post with Oly's reaction and moving the piece~ ]
Liang nodded and picked up a card off the top of the stack. Before she turned it over to look at it, she smiled, glad that he wasn't taking over the game like her brother usually did. Turning the card over, she pouted. Red. That meant she only got to move one space. Oh well, at least it was something. "Red," she told him, scooting her piece off to the side of the square so it was easier to see, "Your turn."
