A nod of her head, Kirjava was determined to find her sister's family to talk with them, to see how they would be like with the news she brought. Turning to Aleu, she smiled slowly, "We do need to find a home, but I know very little of the prides in this area after living a life of a rogue and formerly, a slave. I wouldn't even know where to start to find a pride that I could live in. I'm not sure how far I want to try my luck again." She paused before continuing, "You've done so much for me, it'd be me thanking you, Aleu! You are my friend, and nothing can change that!" She was a bit nervous about joining another pride, especially after her last attempt to join a pride, she became a slave. It would take some time to get used to the idea that she was free and didn't have to listen to anyone order her around. To her son, she couldn't help but surpress a giggle, "That's grass, Ravi."
At Aleu's question, her features soften before looking to her son. What was it like to have a son, a cub as Aleu put it. Many words bubbled in her throat as she tried to find the best answer before she turned to Aleu, "I was new to being a mom, I didn't even know I was pregnant until I was spending some time with my sister, Kiburi and had Ravi. I didn't have a mate to help me, and at times I was angry at myself for letting that lion get the best of me, but in the end, nothing can compare to having a cub follow you around and call you 'Mom'." She glanced at Ravi once more as the corner of her muzzle curled up in a smile that was slowly spreading across her features, "It is the best thing in the world, Aleu. To wake up every morning with Ravi curled by my side waiting to play with me. They have bounds and bounds of energy that never seem to wear out no matter what you do. But, the most rewarding thing is seeing the love pour out of Ravi's eyes and knowing that he is a part of me." She then quieted down as they were approaching another's territory. Now, her new live...a life of freedom began.
Grass! Ravi was going to see what grass was after hearing so much about it. Golden eyes lit up with excitment before he listened to his talk about him. He could feel happiness swell up in him as he rubbed his head against his mother's leg and kept quiet while she spoke.

*Aleu smiled at her friend, envying her in many ways. She spoke as if she was in a heaven of sorts. Was being am other really that good? With a soft gaze Aleu smiled down at Ravi and stood still, as If thinking about what all was just said. Aleu helped Kirjava, because she was her friend. Aleu would do anything for her friends. It was just what she did, what she loved to do. Someday she would want cubs of her own and someday she wished to feel what Kirjava felt. Moving herself to walk again Aleu smiled to herself and looked forward, before speaking.*
"I think we are almost here. Just over those hills.. That is the place that you must go. Kirjava, don’t forget me, I will be back again, I promise. I have to get back home now, I will be back, I will."
*Eyeing down at Ravi Aleu smiled and purred, nuzzling her forehead along the little males. Pulling her neck back up the lioness beamed and nuzzled along Kirjava, like a sister would. She would be back soon, she just needed to tell Tumai of everything that had happened, in the past and all up to this point. Moving herself back, slowly trying to rip herself away from the mother and child Aleu smiled weakly and turned, speaking once more.*
"Be safe, please Kirjava."
*With that Aleu turned herself into haste and quickly took off into a dash, moving herself away from the pair and back to her home and mate. She would be back, and she knew that her friend and cub would be fine. They just had to be.*

Stopping at where Aleu was dropping them off, Kirjava smiled to her friend. It was a shame they were being split apart, once again. Nuzzling her friend back, she whispered, "You are my other sister, Aleu." As the two parted, she couldn't help but smile as she took in the words. In a soft voice, "I'll keep you too your promise. If I don't see you in due time, I'll come looking for you!" As Aleu wished her son farewell, she turned her gaze off towards the grassy plains of where their new destination would be.
Giving Aleu a lick to the cheek, golden eyes watch Aleu venture away from them. Ravi flicked his tail slightly as he kept quiet. Turning to look at his mother, he could see her eyes were slightly watered at the departure and knew it was hard on her. He brushed his head against her leg and gave her a smile, "Mommy, we'll see Auntie Aleu again, just like we'll see Auntie Kiburi again!" He told her confidently before following her to their new destination.
