Back when I was younger my parents wanted me to wear nice clothes (I was a tomboy back then, I hated dresses and skirts, I completely refused to wear them...)

Brenli Whenever I wear lolita in college I get a lot of quiet stares. I'm in the theater department a lot, so most of my reaction that I actually get to my face are positive ones, but as for outside the theater, I can't be sure. Not many people are brave enough to actually say anything to my face about the way I dress. Which is fine. I don't wanna deal with them, anyway. xd The fashion students love it when I dressed up! The theatre kids don't like it quite as much as they should, guess they wish they had the balls to dress up too. They are very clicky and don't like that I'm not a theatre student and I'm still part of there group. There's a lot of inner city kids that give me weird stares but that happens no matter what I'm wearing, they just like to stare do to lack of original thought. Quite a few of the kids are locals like myself and japanese exchange students make up the rest of the school. So the majority are used to it

Hmmm People just looked at me funny and a couple people said I looked like a china doll... I got most compliments on my shoes ( 6 inch platforms.. what can I say) Some lady said I had KISS shoes on... I was like.. Okay..
Of course people at my school tend to just ignore me cause I dress "weird/unique" all the time so they tend to not care.. cause It's me
My principle loved it though... hmmm
Wore one at a Gwen concert.. people thought I was hired to wear it but the people who WHERE hired loved it... Got a couple shout outs from Gwen haha meh... (people stared at my shoes too and I got pictures taken >.<)

Girls typically love my clothes, guys typically hate them. I've been called a slut, and been caled georgeous. Personally, I love it when people don't mention anything about my clothes... it makes me feel like I'm accepted more. Yeah, compliments are always nice, but too many can be awkward. What I HATE is when people tell me that I dress that way for attention.
My French class says that stuff. I have to take them into consideration everyday when I get dressed-- I guess I can't say I hate them, I just find them disgustingly ignorant. Even when I try to explain things to them, they interrupt and refuse to listen..
Ignorance makes me sad. v.v

You're French class doesn't seem to cool... I think they ought to listen and be enlightened.

In school I mostly get weird stares when I wear Gothic Lolita. However, when I wear Sweet lolita (which is what I prefer), people like it much more. Perhaps it's a nice change to my usual black attire.

The other day 2 girls from my class did my hair and makeup. I told them about the dress that I want to get and asked if they'd do my hair and makeup. The loved the idea and how the dress should look!

I don't really know why people say tht, I mean it's rude even if you weren't wearing loli clothing because they walk up to you or by you and comment you even if you don't know them. People these days.

I don't usually get bad comments for wearing lolita to school...most people say it looks cute. Though they say I should do more with my hair - so they do it for me - joy. But yeah, besides that it's usually just a occasional "I like your dress" Kinda thing. ^.^

If the town I live in actually sold Lolita clothing, and I knew more about Lolita fashion, I would go all out and wear Lolita everyday. But sadly, my town sucks and I'm still learning about the Fashion. >>

My town sucks too. So I go to the mall about a 1/2 hour away and shop there (though it doesn't carry much lolita stuff...) and shop around online ^_^

No strangers have ever commented yet. I just get lots of weird stares. My friends say I look cute though.

When I wore it to school, my friends all thought it was really cute. ^^; One of them asked me if I'd gotten it from Japan. When I asked her how she knew, she just said, "Only they'd think to make something that cute. You look like you popped out of a manga." sweatdrop
And when I wore it to my friend's party, her brother muttered, "french maid.." under his breath when I passed. -__- I smacked him...
