It's not that uncommon a term, really...

meh: I've not heard it before.

Anyway, with regards to the actual topic, I'm having some difficulty with Dad. He seems to be a little.. too accepting if you know what I mean. It's creepy, and I always feel a tiny touch guilty when he sees something Spell wise. I know I shouldn't, I just can't seem to help it.

Any tips?

You're welcome hehe hey maybe he'll be a strong magick user.....although he may not seem it at first if the spell you and him do doesn't work.......for me it took a while to figure out how to make chant magick/mental magick work.......I'm more of a physical magick kind of guy hehe.

Didn't realise there where different types: care to elaborate? It kinda makes sense, but still I'm not sure..

I have the same prob as Jen, but with my mum...
I'm not going to try get her to join, 'coz that would make it even wierder... and I can tell she wouldn't really be interested...

Blegh...

She asks alot of questions.... But in a bad way.

it was a year ago when i told my mum that i wanted to change my religion but she had a grin on her face and said no but i changed my religion anyways. the only thing is my mom makes me feel guilty ( and my grandpa) when my mom goes into my room and sees somthing of mine. so, then i quit the wiccan religion for my (and my family's) own good. it was this spring that i went back to wicca only my grandpa found out and he was acting really wierd around me. it was when i was learning elemental magick. Note: that time i went to bed and i was staring at the moon and stars and my contience ness told me " you chose the path. you can't go back." i bleieve it was the goddes or the crone that told me this because it was a full moon. so, thats what made me go back to it in the spring. but then my granpa made me feel guilty so then i quit again. this time i want to stay with it and i don't want to quit because of my family. my uncle supports me, though. he was interested when he was my age and when he told his mum that he wanted to change his religion, his mom wasn't to comfortable with that an he knows how i feel. he told me 2 months ago that he wanted to make a video prooving that wicca isn't a bad thing and to proove that magick really exists . i still miss when my step dad called me his little wizard cry
my uncle said that when i get to the age 13 we'll get more into the subject. he gave my the complete book of witchcraft but i'm too lavy to go see who the author is sweatdrop and i hope he can help me learn and stuff because i want to start a new generation of witch craft.

Physical magick - A magick that uses an object other than a person's limb to cast. The will to cast has to be much greater because of the transfer of energy from the limb into the object. The magick is used to protect oneself better and to increase speed and stamina. A highly advanced magick.

my grandparents would actually burn me alive for being wiccan., The best thing (especially if youre a minor) is to not tell them. After your legal age break it to them gently.

I don't know... some people have the option to tell their parents without such a negative outcome... I think that keeping it a secret is a bad idea unless it comes to either that or quitting.

Tricky...

My suggestion would be to talk to your Grandpa. Ask him why he's acting so weird, and what he did to stop his mum from bothering him. Also, prove to him that you can be responsible with it. How you do this is up to you: it's different for everyone.

With the latter half, I think you were referring to her uncle... rather than grandfather...
