Ifrit made his way through the door, still looking around and taking the new environment in. He bobbed his head at Yazoo's response. So it just always did that? Wow. This place was impressing the fire imp more and more by the moment.
So Yazoo's dad was magic, huh? He knew Alex was sort of 'magic', he supposed- though the gypsy often dismissed the notion of calling it 'magic'. Grown-ups could be silly and confusing at times, he had found. But to have a house that changed when you changed...that was awesome magic. Almost as cool as fire magic, he wagered. Almost.
He looked around the foyer with interest. The castle was big! Really big! He turned around a few times, just trying to absorb and take in everything around him. It was a very nice place.
"Wowee, you live here? Really? This is awesome." he breathed. "What's your dad like anyways?" he asked suddenly. "And where do you sleep?" he bombarded. Ah, the Aeon was always full of questions, it seemed.

Yazoo waited patiently for the questions to stop before he replied in order "Yes I live here. My Daddy is an angel and you will find out when we get to my room. It's where I am going to make you pretty, silly."
Laughing as he wandered off down the hall he wondered why people always reacted like this. It wasn't that big a deal.
"Hope you're not scared of water cause you need a bath." he tossed back over his shouler with a wink.

An angel? Did he mean like a literal angel, or just a sweet and kind person? He was curious, but didn't bother to ask. Angels probably didn't exist ANYWAYS. They were probably just a bedtime fairytale- or at least Ifrit hadn't seen otherwise.
At any rate, he trailed after the boy, still looking all around distractedly and not paying much attention to where they were going. Incidentally, when Yazoo made the comment about needing a bath, he stumbled a bit over his feet.
"W-what? I ain't scared." he stammered, somewhat indignantly. He was far from being afraid, but baths meant water. Ifrit didn't like water. He wasn't opposed to washing, per se- he usually sat patiently when Alex held him down and gave him a quick wash (normally about the same time as the dog, who seemed to dislike bathing even worse than Ifirt). But he certainly did not like being submerged in liquid, which is generally what a bath entailed. "Can't you just spray me with a hose or something?" he protested.

Stopping as Ifirit actually asked to be sprayed with a hose Yazoo turned and blinked at the other boy. Slowly as he thought about it his delicate nose began to scrunch up in distaste.
"Are you nuts? You can't use soap and shampoo if you just spray yourself." he said through twisted lips.

Oh, why was the boy making that face? It wasn't like he'd asked to set fire to anything he owned. He had learned that things like that was generally in poor taste. Even if the object in question looked like it'd make a killer blaze.
He didn't see what the big deal with just standing on the front lawn and being sprayed down with a hose was.
"Sure ya can! Just bend the hose and stop the water for a bit so you can soap stuff up, and then unbend it after you've finished gettin' all bubbly and rinse it off. Easy." he explained with a small grin. That sounded far better than soaking in a tub.

Doing his best to not faint at the mere idea of not being in a warm, cozy tub with his scented oils and lotions Yazoo schooled his face back into a calm appearance.
Once he had done that he replied "And how do you get everything? If you are outside then you can't take your clothes off."
He figured that his logic was perfect but then again nothing had really been normal about the other boy as yet.

Oh, why was he making that face? He was acting weird. It was only for a moment, but Ifrit caught the fact the boy seem aghast at his method. Everything about this one was kind of weird. Who liked being submerged in water anyways? Was a hose not good enough for him or something? Ifrit was a very no-frills sort of Aeon, and didn't quite understand the concept of a bubble bath.
At the mention of clothes, Ifrit held his hands wide. "If you hadn't noticed, I'm not big on clothes. My fur covers enough anyways." he stated plainly. "I jus' take off my bracelets and necklace and my cape if I'm wearing it...it's not rocket science." he said with a shrug. " Don't have fur under your clothes?" he asked, seeming puzzled.
He assumed everyone had fur. Though some people seemed a bit baldy and lacking, he just figured they hid their fur under their clothes or cut it off...though why anyone would hide (or cut away) their fur was beyond him. He liked his fur, and he wouldn't trade it for the world. He looked the boy up and down. He bet he had nice fur- soft and silver like his hair...

Yazoo froze as Ifirit admitted to not wearing any clothes. Did that mean....... HE WAS NAKED!!!!
Taking up a scrutinizing gaze he walked around the other boy a couple of times before stopping and blushing.
"You.... you're..... um.... naked" he stammered as he tried very hard to quiet the raging colour now flooding his face. He had never seen another person naked before and this was rather unnerving.

He crossed his arms as the boy walked around him, looking him over. This was...a little strange. Did most people do this? If so, he wasn't sure he needed that many friends.
And now he was getting all red. What was that called again? Blushing, right. But why? Hadn't he ever seen an Aeon before? He had no clue it was the whole 'lack of clothing' thing make the other boy uneasy.
"I'm not naked naked. I have my bangles and necklace on." he said exasperatedly. "Plus, I told you the fur covers everything!"
Indeed it did. Even around the front it looked a little... neuter, with only a slight mound to indicate where anything was. The fur did, quite nicely and neatly, cover all that needed to be covered. Ifrit didn't see what the big deal was.
"If I wore clothes over my fur, I'd end up getting hot and uncomfortable. So...I don't. I don't see what the big deal is, or why you're getting all red-faced." he stated plainly. "Haven't you ever been naked?"

Getting even further flustered as Ifirit spoke, Yazoo did his best to not look at the other boy.
"Of course I've been naked before but not out in public!" he responded using his hand to sheild his eyes from the furry child beside him. He certainly didn't want to see anything if it happened to pop out.

He put his hands at his waist, jutting his hips to the side in annoyance. This kid was too weird. He acted in a way Ifrit had only seen girls act, lived in a freaky house ( a freaky house he didn't even notice was freaky) and now was all of a sudden acting all flustered.
"What's wrong with being naked in public?" he said, a little puzzled. He was always naked. "Are you ashamed of the fact you don't have a lot of fur or something?"
He walked over to the boy, getting his face close to the other's. "You're too weird. I've been naked this whole time and all of a sudden you don't wanna look at me? That's not very nice." he said, crossing his arms again.

"I didn't realize you were naked!" Yazoo exclaimed in a horrified tone. "It's not like I would have thought you'd go around undressed."
His hand had slipped as he spoke since he found it hard to make a point without eye contact, however now that he was done explaining himself he snapped it right back up over his eyes.
"I don't want fur!" he snapped irritably as he took a step back from Ifirit who was now far too close in his mind.

Ifrit massaged his temples like he had seen Alex do times before (mostly after he either set fire to something to see how well it would burn, or after the dog ate something).
"How? How did you miss that? Are you blind?" He sighed in defeat as the boy snapped at him. "And how could you not want fur? It's the best!"
He didn't like it when people took that tone with him. While it would be amusing (and passive-aggressively satisfying) to step closer again, he thought better of it and remained where he was, letting Yazoo back up. "Look...if I let you find me something to wear would it make you feel better?" he ventured in an attempt to placate the silver-haired boy. Inwardly, he hoped not ALL people were this weird...

Oh thank God! Yazoo moved quickly to find the boy something to put on. Since they hadn't made it to his room yet he had to improvise. Reaching up he grabbed a curtain and yanked.
As the material fell to the floor it landed over top the young boys head covering him from head to toe.
"Agh!" he exclaimed as he tried to untangle himself and only succeeded in becoming more tangled."Help."

Ifrit's serious look broke and he laughed loudly as the curtain toppled onto the other boy.
"You really are something else, ya know?" he said, moving over to help untangle the boy.
He wasn't thrilled with the idea of wearing a curtain- it was going to look stupid, like he was wearing some dress. Heck, a dress would be a step up- at least that was real clothing and not something you hang in the window. But Yazoo...he wasn't going to stop acting freaky until Ifrit covered up. He still didn't see what the big deal was but like Alex said- sometimes you needed to roll with things and adapt.
