The Armengald took advantage of the chaos the Titan had inflected and fired its Archer missles at the support ship. The missles hit the sheilds but flickered away.

WIth a sullen blue nova, the covie carrier moved forwardsm its own sides glowing red. With a few deft movements, the carrier now turned sideways, sliding through space. It fired once, then rolled over and fired it's other side weapon, both plasma streaks arching towards the capital ship.

Once fired, the pilot of the carrier corrected her heading, and sped off to some close by range to recharge her weapons.

The Titan fired its aft thrusters and slowly turned itself, now having its side face its enemies. It remained that way a moment longer, before several puffs of smoke appeared and lanced outward, away from the Carrier. Two large groups of Archer missiles lashed out to meet both of their targets, the Covenant capital ship and the other Cruiser, which seemed to feel a need to get in their way. Dots of flame erupted against each ship, either impacting on their shields or on bare armor.

(( I always believed it stood for Covenant Capital Ship, but I don't really know. ))

((Thats what I thought it stood for.))

The human controlled carrier's plasma torpedoes impacted along the ships middle, where the main bulk of it was located. Each torpedo hit minutes apart, but the first burned through at least half of the ship's hull, making it look as if it were being cut apart. The second blast finished off the job, finally severing the aft and forward sections of the ship, secondary explosions making them slowly drift apart.

((I hope you don't mind if I did that prematurely.))

The Crusier buckled under the blast. Some decks started to take fire. The Crusier swayed port and sped up to make a U-Turn to attack the Titan.

(( Need to wrap this battle up to make room for the next. ))

The Titan remained stationary as a few Pelicans and several Longswords left the launch bay filled with medics and a few engineers in order to assist in any repairs needed on the wounded Armengald. On the starboard side of the ship, however, several panels opened up, before releasing dozens of Archer Missiles, all of which lanced towards the dying Cruiser that was attempting to get closer to the Titan, each missile impacting against the ship's stern section, near its reactors. The ship listed to port momentarily, before the reactors within it erupted into a brilliant display of flaming shrapnel, easily ripping what remained of the ship's hull to pieces.

The Carrier that was commanded by Gai drifted nearer to the Titan and the Armengald, its many engineers outfitted with space suits heading out to try and fix the ships.

Two AUs away from the ring and the battle field, a single ship, smaller then the others, floated silently waiting. It's seven man crew were standing at the bridge area watching with increased magnification as the battle raged and died down.

The ship was teardrop shaped, but it's prow was but two prongs instead of the solid bow of a teardrop. It had three decks, the bridge and living quarters were on the top, the rec room and armory in the middle, as well as the engineering and weapons servicing stations and on the bottom was the battle gear and the medical area.

Its weapons systems were only four, two mounted just behind the bridge area, and on the middle deck. The other two were mounted just inside the prongs of the ship.

The captain of the pirate ship activated it's engines, miniature gravety wells appearing all around the ship to propell it forwards at a prodigious increase of speed.

((This is the entrence of the Valkyrie Rose.))

Captain Vincent eyed the display map that was connected to a small monitor on the right arm of his chair, which was firmly welded to the steel floor of the bridge. He noted a total lack of enemies in the immediate area and sighed in slight relief as he looked away in order to examine the larger monitor in front of him, examining the conditions of their other ships. The Armengald had taken a hit or two, and the engineers they had sent over were busy trying to get its engines up and running. The Covenant Carrier had also moved up alongside it and begun assisting in the repairs. He tapped in a few coordinates on a small screen beside him, and quickly sent two seperate, encrypted commands for their two other ships, the UNSC Frigates Shinobi and Ingraham to take up defensive positions near the Armengald as the repairs are made. The Titan, in the mean time, would take on command of ground and space operations for the battle group. Rather than take their Longsword fighters back, he decided to have them form clusters around the Armengald as well, not knowing if some small Covenant ships could have survived their recent attack. He managed to relax slightly as he rested back, thinking that he had done everything he could at that moment to do his job.

"Captain?"

"Lets bring her in and see what we can do."

The Rose had a large Jolly Rodger painted on the side of her hull, opposite of her insignea that was emblazoned upon her port side. She rocketed along through space, no visible corona comming from her engines, though a much larger gravety well was being generated around the ship than what should be, for it was typical of a Covenant Super Carrier.

Lieutenant Jennings squinted at his monitor, thinking and hoping he was simply too tired to read it accurately at this point, before his eyes widdened and he swivled around in his chair to face the Captain. "Captain! I think we've got another target in bound on our position!" Vincent would have easily been asleep right now, had he not been in the middle of what he considered to be hell, but somehow managed to get up and make his way over to examine what the Lieutenant was talking about. He gazed at the long-range sensor readouts and couldn't help but be slightly confused. "If these can be trusted, it's a fairly small ship with a large reading, which doesn't make much sense...Have you tried running it through the database of known Covenant vessels?" The Lieutenant, who seemed to have been awake longer than he nodded quickly and looked back at his screen. "Yes sir, I can't find a match. It's something we haven't seen before." The Captain placed a heavy hand on the Lieutenant, and the smaller man flinched in response. "Then it's simple. It's not one of ours. We must destroy it before we're destroyed. Problem solved." He quickly moved back to his seat, and began rapidly typing in commands for their two Frigates to move alongside the Titan.

"Alright then, let's get moving. We need to take this thing out, but distance ourselves from the Armengald first. It's too dangerous to fight around it at this point. Let our current dispached Longswords protect it until we return. Tell our escort ships to match our speed and prep every weapon they have, and be sure to mention we have no idea how tough this enemy ship will be." He sighed quietly and managed to push away his glasses before rubbing his tired eyes, wishing the enemy would somehow detect his fatigue and let him rest for once in his military career as the three UNSC ships advanced on the enemy.

"Captain. Three of the ships are moving to intersept points along our vector. Their weapons are charging."

"Evasive manuvers, and prepare to react. But disable their weapons system's only, and possibly their targeting."

The relativly small ship blasted forwards, her gravety drives pulling small chunks of metal and other such debris along behind her. She rolled and pulled away with a quick well placement, allowing for the Rose to perform manuvers no other ship could do, as quick as she could do them. The captain took control of the weapons as well as the manuvering, leaving the point defence to the other six members of his crew.

He warmed up his side weapons, allowing the reactor for the weapons to heat up sufficiantly. A warm glow was all the other light the ship gave off, other then the errie green glow comming from the bridge area of the Rose.

The Captain gave off a low whistle as he watched the small ship fly through space from a magnified view point. "She's fast...So, MAC guns will only be effective if we calculate its movement down to the millisecond...Tell the both ships to launch all of their Longsword fighter squadrons and to keep their MAC guns at full charge. Also, tell them to wait for the ship to be in the greatest arc of a turn when firing their MAC guns." He watched their target move through space for a few moments, before slightly adjusting his orders. "Send out every Longsword we've got, and prep two Pelicans with Marines as boarding parties." He detected a pause in typing as several of the bridge crew turned to look back at him, but he simply stared forward at his monitor. He knew why they found his last order to be odd, since they'd never heard of anyone actually boarding a Covenant ship. He, however, felt that this wasn't just another Covenant ship, and wanted to get inside of it in order to discover what made it different. To distract them somewhat from his order, he decided to give them more to do. "Also, arm every Archer missile we have on board, since we'll most likely have to use them to take this thing down."

The captain of the Valkyrie Rose fired first the port plasma gun, a blue tinted squirt flushing from the nozzel as they skimmed mere yards from the surface of the Titan. He was extremly tempted to fire with his own mac guns, but chose not to for they were very deadly to a human ship, as well as marginally to a covenant.

At six points along the outer hull of the ship, six quad fifty gun turrets activated and swivveled outwards, waitng to intercept any missile attack or single ship fighters,

Several .50 calibur guns strained to track the ship as it passed by them, firing wildly in its direction until it was out of range.

He blinked as he examined a portion of his ship's hull melting away under the impact of a plasma weapon, sealing the ship's fate as being designated a Covenant vessel. "Have the Ingraham follow that ship, see if it can match its speed...and fire what Archer Missiles we have ready to go near the bow."

Dozens of tiny puffs of smoke appeared as Archer Missiles lanced out and tracked the small ship's course, easily following its movements. The Titan remained still as dozens of totally different weapons, Longswords, launched from both of the ships bays and headed straight for their target, following the Frigate, Ingraham as it swiftly chased the strangely shaped vessel.

Vincent tapped his index finger on the control panel of his chair blankly as he watched things unfold on the screen. "Have the Longswords overtake that thing. Show it that speed alone won't save it." He grinned slightly as a few dozen of the smaller fighter ships from the two other Frigates darted off to their target.
