It wasn't soap? Then what was it? Laial didn't miss the flinch either. So it was painful? Weird...soap wasn't normally painful.
Then someone entered the room. HOLYSHIZMONKIES! He screamed in his mind as he flew (or at least ran) to a little corner, so maybe the adult wouldn't see him. Although his giant shell and bright red shirt negated this action. The only thing that prevented him from shrinking into his shell was Talia; she was a tentecle, after all. Fortunetly, she seemed to know...wait, wait, wait...
OH MY GOD IT'S THE EGG-GUY!! Laial made sure to be quiet and still now. Because if he wasn't, the Egg-Guy would take his egg away! That would be bad!

The 'egg-guy' sighed as he put her hands under the water to rinse them free of the soap. "We'll get some antibiotics in my office..." he muttered to her, before setting her on the floor and staring expectantly.
Talia shifted, looking to the floor. Thinking she was in more trouble than she probably was.
"This is the men's bathroom, little girls shouldn't be in here... Nor any girl." He continued to stare at her.
"Adventure..." she muttered, turning a pale color.. almost white as though she were trying to dissapere amongst the white tiled floor.
"Adventure?" He blinked, looking to the boy in the corner. The fact he was there hadn't slipped him, but he was taking care of his daughter first. "You're not allowed in here because this is where men go.. potty..." he sighed a bit, downgrading his way of speech to something the toddler would understand.
She looked at him curiously.
"Boys... Like him, and me... We're different. So we have different bathrooms. And Those are urinals... We go potty in them, because we're different and we can go potty standing..."
Talia stared, what? boys were different? They could STAND while going potty? Wow... Strange. She vaugly wondered how, but before the thought could go any further Alan was speaking again.
Boy this was awkward.. "So.. Don't put your hands in there, it's dirty... and don't come in here because we don't wan tpeople seeing us go potty just like you wouldn't want someone walking in on you. You'll learn why boys can stand when you're older, okay?"
Talia nodded.
Alan sighed, his bladder pressing at him... He had come in here for a reason afterall, and it wasn't to stop his child from playing with urinal cakes. "You two go back to my office." He shot Laial a look, as if to say he better not run off before he got a talk as well.
Talai nodded a bit slower, wondering if they were still in trouble, she motioned for Laial to follow her and then headed back down the hall towards the office door with the name "Alan Rikery" on the tab beside it. She reached a tentacle up, placing it on the scanner. It confirmed her with an automated voice, like something in a movie, and asked for a code. She reached up, pressing a few buttons and then the click of the door ulocking was heard. In which she moved the handle and stepped inside, waiting for Laial to follow behind.

Laial was hardly listening to the conversation, instead just trying not to be seen. One little snid-bit of information made its way to his brain, though. Girls couldn’t go potty standing? Weird. Though not quite as weird as almost everyone having two arms…
Look. Bad. He hunched down like a disciplined child and quickly scampered after Talia, straightening up and walking normal as soon as he was out of eyesight of the egg-guy. Not knowing his way around D-Corp, Laial contended with following Talia to ‘Alan Rikery”s office. Whoever that was. Oh…didn’t the egg-guy say to go to his office? So that meant Alan Rikery was the egg-guy. Interesting…
…but the secret code-thing Talia used was even better! He didn’t know D-Corp had electric lockdowns! Deciding not to ask, he followed Talia into the office, glancing around as he did so. He wanted to remember this, as he doubted he was going to be allowed back here anytime soon. Not that he really wanted to be back here anytime soon.

Once Laial was inside, she looked around the room. It was a bit of a mess, but a large room for an office. ALmost the size of someone's living room. In the middle was Alan's desk, set close to the wall but still giving him room to sit. There were papers scattered about the desk, along with filecabnets and bookshelfs behind there.
On the other side was a bed, carefully made. Next to it set a few of Talia's toys, consisting of squid plushies nad squeaky things. Which, was what Talia automatically went to.

Laial blinked at the....barren-ness of the room. Was this her room? The next items he saw, a bed and some toys, answered his question. With no better ideas, he walked over to her side of the room, sitting a few feet away to make sure he wasn't imposing upon her space.
"Is this where you live?" he asked Talia curiously.

Talia settled herself ontop of the bed for a seat, looking at her feat as they kicked back and forth in an idle mannor. Were they still in trouble? She couldn't tell by the way her dad looked, he hadn't looked like that since she pulled open the top drawer of his desk...
Laial's voice broke the toddler's small train of thought, and she gave a happy and proud nod.
