Rin walked to his bunker door and opened before, as expected he turned to the general and offered him a small smile " Good night General. Hope to see you in the morning." Rin walked in. His Father always said that to his sons, forever burning into thier heads the fact that any one of them could not wake up in the morning.
Rin looked about the bunker and curled up on his bed. It was pretty comfortable for a makeshift shelter. He closed his eyes and let his mind wander. Unsuprisingly, it went to the handsome General. Rin wondered if the other had anyone before he drifted to sleep.

General Tristan walked into his bunker and took to the bed immediatly.He was totally exhausted y now and felt like he'd sleep through a hurricane right now.He undressed and laid don on his bed.It was a bit more comfortable than expected for a bunker bed but it was enough.As he closed his eyes to try and get some sleep, his mind wandered off and e got an image or two of Rin getting ready for bed drifting through his mind."I wonder if he sleeps in the buff?" he thought to himself, inciting yet more images as he finally drifted off to sleep.

Rin awoke the next morning bright and early. It got terribly hot in his bunker for some odd reason so he slept in his underwear. He got dressed and fixed himself up a bit. He caught himself while he was brushing his hair. Why was he fixing himself up to see the general?Rin decided to disregard the thought and finished up his routine.
Rin wondered if the General was even awake at this hour. He warily left his bunker and went to the one that belonged to Tristan's. Rin listened through the walls to see if he was awake.

Tristan was currently pulling on the last of his cloths and taking a moment to comb his hair.He knew it wasn't a requirement to look proffesional in this military force but he felt better about looking the part of a General.He pulled on his jacket now as he walked up to the door.His mic resonated with silver energy, indicating someone he couldn't see was standing there.He opened the door and was greeting Rin before it was far enough open to even see him."Well, hello Lieutenant Amani.I expect you are here for your first official assignment.Am i correct?" he smiled armly and stepped aside to allow Rin inside."Please, come in and make yourself comfortable."

Rin blushed, a tad startled, but calmed " Yes, I am here for my assignment. I apologize for listening, I was only trying to determine if you were awake or not." Rin went into the General's bunker with a " Thank you." Rin just stood, unsure of really where to sit. The bed would be to...improper, the floor would be all together stupid on his part.Rin decided his safest bet was to just stand.

"Oh!I'm sorry.I forgot to show you what you have to do to get your bunker into proper living quarters." he stepped into the middle of the room and slammed his fist into the center of the floor causing silver energy to resonate around the room.As the waves of energy passed over the things in the room, the ordinary looking bunker seemed to change a remanifest everything right before Rin's eyes until the whole place was completely furnished like a very extravagant mansion."pulse your energy through the room, the things that are there respond to the Angel Seed.This whole place is designed around using your energy so your first assignment is a training session in the armory simulation chamber with me.I need to assess you control of the Seed before I can give you anything to do off base.If you need to use your energy, I don't want to send you on a mission you can't handle yet." he stepped back to the door."You'll learn your way around soon, I promise.If you like I'll get one of the other soldiers who've been here for a while to show you around this weekend.DAMN never makes a move on the wekends any more.Since the new Colonel took over the outpost they've been acting wierd.Let's get moving and we'll bedone soon."

"That's understandable.I did too.Go get yorself some breakfast and meet me in the training room by nine okay.I'll be waiting for you Rin." he walked out of the barracks and headed inside one of the smaller buildings.He walked to the back of the building and punched in a code number.The entire buildings inside glowed with white light as the hologram was being prepped.As the images came up, one at a time, he noticed that the Colonel had installed new software and integrated his personal fovorite enemies to fight.Fliers.Small black creatures like ravens with burning wing of blue fire and glowing red eyes.Stepping into the start area, he signalled the computer that he was ready to start."Computer, run program sim4DA!" he shouted to the vocal reciever on the ceiling.A soft female voice responded from he building."Program starting....." the holograms shifted slightly to include large enemies and civilians as well while removing some of the smaller enemies."Begin, now".Tristan held his hand in the air above him as he shouted at the top of his voice,"Angel Arm!Reveal your light!" his arm seemed to be changing for a few minutes until it had become what appeared to be a rifle twice the length of his arm.It had four wings coming from its end to create a set of crosshairs.Tristan took aim and blasted powerful, concentrated shots of silver Angel Seed energy at each target.Within only five minutes, every enemy target was shot down while the civilian holograms remained innact.His arm returned to normal and he walked carefully over to the small cooler that was kept here.He took out a bottle of water and opening it, he took a long drink.He sat down next to the cooler and closed his eyes to relax for a while and wait for Rin.Within minutes, his empty water bottle lay on the ground next to his feet and he was asleep on the floor, leaning his back against the wall behind him.

Rin went and had a small breakfast. To much food made him sleepy in the morning. Rin made his way over to the training room, with the directions he coaxed out of some poor innocent colonel. He saw there was no one training inside from an outside sensor so Rin let himself in.Rin was about to announce himself, but noticed his sleeping general next to a small cooler. Rin smiled and made his way over to the sleeping superior. Rin sat on his knees before Tristan. " Tristan," He called softly " Please wake up Tristan."

Tristan opened his eyes, smiling at Rin."Sorry lad.I guess I wore myself out waiting for you to get here.Before you ask, I don't usually eat breakfast so no I haven't had anything to eat." he stood up and after offering a hand to help Rin back up he continued."If you're ready stand over there and I'll show you how to work the computer." he looked up to the sensor in the ceiling and spoke clearly to it."HOSS, begin program Sim1DA!".A male voice, somewhat like a mature teenager's, spoke back to him."Right away General Tristan O'Daniel.Would you like me to incorporate program D.I.S.M. as well?This one looks like he could use it".Tristan had designed that program himself but it had never been meant to be used in a simuatin training.It was more of a....private use program, for when he was up late at night and the lower rankings soldiers were all in their barracks sleeping."No HOSS.I don't think so.Besides you know that program is a special one just for me to use.I don't think the other other officers could handle it yet.And they were right when they told me you were getting a mind of your own.I hope they finish that biodroid body soon so you'll be away from here when I'm training people".The computers sensor flashed two or three times before the voice spoke again."Very well general.But I still think it would do him some good.He seems a bit uptight.Wound up tighter than a watch spring......if that's the way you're always saying it." the sensor flashed four more times and light green wire frames starting forming for low level Devils and very few civilians.After a few minutes, the wire frames were fully formed Devils and humans, all with their own individual personality and many with their own inidividuality.That's the way it was in the real world.If Rin couldnt handle killing something that had a mind of it's own in a simulation then he woul never be able to survive on the field."This simulatin will either make you or break you Rin.Are you ready?"

" Thank you HOSS for pointing out my tenseness right before this physical test. And General, I'm as ready as I'll ever be." The simulation started and Rin showed that he was very aware of his surroundings at all times. He slashed very few Demons directly with his oddly shiny whip, mainly he directly hit the ones about to attack the civilians, mainly he maneuvered swiftly through the demons causing them to attack each other. Rin also used hand to hand on them, despite the fact that he figured it would mainly be a weaponry centered war.
The simulation ended soon enough and Rin stood waiting for Tristan to say something before he moved. Rin breathed deeplythrough his nose since the simulation wasn't severe enough for panting or kneeling. He had replaced his whip at his side.

"Excellent Rin.That was a basic endurance test, though.Now it's time for you to perform for an actual power test.We need to determine your level of control so this one will be more difficult, alright." he looked back up to the sensor and spoke with HOSS again."HOSS, begin program sim2DA.Integrate program phys5".The sensor flashed as usual and HOSS resonded."Right away General.Why don't I get you a cup of coffee while I'm at it." he was being a smartass now.His personality was definitely developing from all the contact he was having with people.Tristan smirked at HOSS's remark, and thinking to himself ~I REALLY hope they finish his biodroid body soon~.The wire frames started forming and within minutes, they had formed to include the lower level enemies that Tristan himself had set up in his own training program."Whenever you're ready Rin.These are goign to be attacking you now and their atacks are going to feel just as real as mine would right now.If you think you're going to need help, just let me know."

Rin decided that he didn't like HOSS very much. He started without a word. Rin forgot they weren't real as he fought with all he could muster. Then again that was kind of how he did everything, at full force. He never needed help when fighting. He almost did when one of the monsters hit him in the gut, knocking the wind out of him.But overall he finished the practice with only one impending bruise.
Rin stood tall, despite the dull pain, breathed hard through his nose and wiped the sweat collected at his hairline. He waited for his General's further instruction

"Very good Rin.Stage two development from the start shifting to stage three near the end." he scratched his chin lightly for a moment, his signature smile back on his face.Looking up to the sensor in the ceiling, he took off his mic from his waist and tossed it off to the side.In a flash of silver light, he was flying up to the ceiling on a pair of black, silver laced, feathered wings.He whispered for a moment to HOSS and after a moment, an almost earsplitting sound echoed through the building.The volume and pitch rising and falling as Rin's drive and power had done throughout his fight until at one point, the sound became nearly inaudible, but it quickly spiked back up to the original level for the remainder of the time it played.Tristan drifted back to the floor and in another flash of silver light, he stood in front of Rin, his mic back on his waist now."That was an audio energy replay of your fight.I can read the sounds better than the physical and you've got an incredible amount of latent power.Being here for a while, we can help you unlock it all.I was here for four years before I learned that little trick I just used." he walked over to his bench and reaching up on the wall beside the cooler he'd taken his bottle of water from earlier.He punched a few buttons on a keypad and a slip of paper printed out."Looks like the Colonel wants you to take over command of the defense and delivery for the newest standard issue firearms.We're getting a new shipment of handguns today.You'll need to go down to the docks and make sure that nothing's damaged and that the weapons arrive without any issues.Mostly you'll just need to keep an eye out for the gangs in the area.Think you can handle it, Lieutenant Rin?" he smirked at Rin, thinking he already knew the answer.Knowing Rin might not know just how toget to the docks the Wing Military used he had a map already waiting for Rin in his pocket.

Rin nearly went blind from the hideously high pitched noise. " Yah I can handle the job." The sound had slightly disoriented him. " Sir, I don't exactly know where the docks are. If it wouldn't be to much trouble, could you tell me where they are?" Rin, now knowing that another was there, reverted to his overly polite and strict demeanor.
