Taima watched the alphas with cautious eyes. All of her life she had been teased, tortured, tossed aside and merely forgotten by the wolves around her. Damu had proved to be different than the rest, but were these two actually serious? Only a few minutes ago had they actually seen the other pair, and already the female was making invitations. It seemed a little... rushed... for her, but she would wait for her mate's thoughts before deciding anything for certain.
Slowly she bowed her head, showing what respect she could for the two bigger wolves. Afterwards her head came up, though only slightly, and her tail remained tucked.
Then the female turned her attention to the one at her side, only one of the two wolves she had ever really trusted. The other... well, it was best not to think of them at this time. Tai's last encounter with Tristan had led to a break-down of sorts on the male's side. And it bothered her to think that she hadn't spotted his feelings before they seemed to ruin him.
But that shouldn't have been thought of at that moment, so she merely shook it off for now. Green eyes shone bright despite her apparent fear. 'What do you think?' they seemed to ask of Damu.

Damu nodded his head, agreeing with what the sandy-brown alpha spoke of. It was reassuring to know that he and Taima weren't the only ones searching for a home...in some cases it seemed that they were forgotten, forlorn and discarded as two misfits within the woods.
How it tolled upon his heart!
Such a sickening, stomach knotting feeling always seized him by force when he was onlooked as a tainted soul, a sinner and an outcast. No- he could never stand to fall subject to the stares and snide whispers that snaked from their fangs with ill intent. It was a curse that would never leave them at peace.
Until now...
The white and black swirled males maw fell open in bewildered astonishment and a lack of proper words for the moment. Did- did Damu hear Loki clearly? She was offering them...a home within their pack? Never in his wildest dreams did he ever expect such kindness towards them without foul judgement and a senseless brawl having the male to prove his worth. Such an invitation seemed too sudden but Damu had to keep in mind that such an offer was hard to find...and not all alpahs were so gracious.
"Join your...pack?" The words stumbled and slid from his maw with a haltered speed. Never did he imagine that he'd ever hear those words but, to him, they freed many pent up burdens and fears.
Glnacing towards Taima as his emerald orbs settled upon her own green eyes, he smiled warmly. For her, for their future, that's what the decision was made in benifit for; their passion and life together.
"Yes. I'd be honored to be apart of your pack," he replied with a humble tone, eyes softening as he looked upon both Hige and Loki with the same warm smile.

Hige had to grin at Loki's words, she really did know him "too" well. Then again, the "collared" male wasn't at all surprised by this, not when they'd been drawn to one another so quickly right from the start.
The male's initial surprise and the female's hesitance struck Hige in such a way that he wondered if they'd accept. It did seem like the better option, giving them the protection that a pack as large as theirs had to offer, while simultaneously leaving them free to roam the seaside to their heart's content. Technically the pack had more than enough members (Too many, really, for their plot of land.) already, but farbeit for Hige or Loki to turn anyone away.
They'd have to see about expanding their territory soon though. Hige was aware of more wolves than they ever imagined being housed here, and it wasn't enough room.
Where once they only consisted of seven members, thinking THAT to be a large group, they were now nearly in their thirties, and the land was no longer going to be enough. There was more territory free not far from there, but the question was-- how would they get to it, and travel frequently between? It was seperated from their land by the river that flowed through. Too large for the youth or the elderly to swim across, especially on a daily basis.
"We'll show you around, unless you'd rather rest first. Our pack is pretty big so for now you should probably stick with us until the others know you're going to be staying with us."

The silence made Loki a bit nervous for the most part, she hoped they would take her offer to heart, hating to think they would rather roam alone than join a pack. She focused most of her attention on the nervous female, thinking kind thoughts, hoping to make her feel less afraid. The larger male seemed less nervous to accept the invitation, and Loki couldn't help but smile wider at his obvious reaction.
"Wonderful!" she responded, unable to stop her tail from swishing back and forth faster. Mirth played over her maw as she nodded to both wolves.
She looked back to her mate, giving his muzzle a soft lick. She tried briefly to catch what he was thinking, also knowing that these lands could only hold so many wolves before it got uncomfortable. They would never turn any away, so they had to do something about attaining more land, and with another thought on her mind - one of new life soon - the two Seaside alphas would need to talk it over soon.
"That's a great idea." she nodded at Hige's offer to tour them around.

Taima's tail whisked behind her as her mate seemed to put on the stamp of approval on the invitation. She had seen nothing wrong with this alpha pair, but she had thought that perhaps Damu might have caught something that she hadn't in all her nervousness. But it seemed like, even if he had caught something else, they were perfectly alright in his eyes.
Slowly she let a smile overcome her features as she let her posture loosen. She became relaxed and not so omega-ish. This Loki and Hige were alright, she thought.
"Oh, well, I wouldn't mind either way, really," she said, her voice cheery and light, tail still wagging. "I'm actually not all that tired right now, but I can't speak for my mate, Damu. If he isn't tired, though, I'd really like to see your lands. The ocean is absolutely beautiful, and I'm sure the rest of the lands are no different."
Tail still wagging, she looked back and forth between the three other wolves. She was so overwhelmed by the offer that she almost had trouble standing without wiggling.

Glancing over towards his mate, Damu rumbled softly as his feathered, black ringed tail swayed behind him. "Not tired at all," he grinned as he tenderly nuzzled his mate and nibbled upon her ear. "I'd enjoy a tour of these lands...I'm afraid I might be a bit lost if I didn't know where everything was."
His emerald orbs couldn't help but watch her as she began to relax and lose its tension, a true posture arising from her omega stature. Tilting his head slightly as he was rather in awe, he grinned. This is the begining of a new future, he thought as he diverted his attention towards Hige and Loki.
The last thing he needed was to come across another group of foreign wolves and become defensive; riling up a brawl and stirring up trouble. That was definately not on his agenda, especially after being admitted into a pack.
He nodded with a broad smile. "I couldn't agree with you more, Hige. Besides, I wouldn't like to stir up any ill feelings."
As his black ears flickered, Damu slid his forepaws outwards and stretched. Knowing that they would continue to travel about the packlands, the least he could do was to prepare for a longer journey to an unknown destination.
