The hand stopped.
Fingers resting against her cheek, he glared, unable to bring himself to harm her. Here, with the mere innocence of a child... she had been able to tame him, for that one instance.
It would not happen again, he would see to that!
Giving a growl, he moved his hand to take hers away, turning his side to her. He had to think of something, an excuse to leave.

Before he could escape, she made a comment of her own, quite literally ditching him before he could ditch HER. Flicking her bangs from her eyes, she moved slowly toward the bank of the river, speaking in a good-natured sort of tone.
"Well, I for one have waisted far too much time in this.... I must be getting along. After all, communion with the forest sprites is quite important, you know..."
Which implied that it was more important than both Tasius, and having a conversation with him. Smiling, she glanced over her shoulder at him before darting into the forest, leaving her farewell behind.
"Perhaps thee shall have my company again."

Tasius watched her leave, left quite unruffled, had he feathers.
Golden eyes narrowed, and a point was made; he'd have to watch her in the future.
