i prefer romeo and mercutio myself..... benvolio x romeo and mercutio x benvolio dont sound that bad either....
as for juliet... i cant imagine her with someone else x_X m.i.a. =p

Y'know, I never thought of yari with any Shakespeare, much less Romeo and Juliet. o.o;; And yes, I loved how in the "modern" version (with Leo DiCaprio) Mercutio cross-dressed. That was epic. <3
However, I'm planning to write a novel about a girl named Juliet Romero (pun on Romeo and Juliet, lol!!). See, she comes from a very politically-active, very conservative family. And somehow, it gets leaked to the public that she's a lesbian right in the middle of her dad's run for the Republican presidential nomination. Uh-oh.

i've been wanting to perform as Mercutio for EVAR, and i saw the "modern" Romeo + Juliet, and phucking LOVED it...
Mercutio + Romeo would be hot to trot. andandand, what about Romeo + that Friar dude? clergyman needs love too! <333

We have two english classes at school 1 and 2
im in class 2
clas 1 got to do Romeo and Juliet first and for there final they had to rewrite the story from a certain point
so i was so excited when we got done reading Romeo and Juliet because i figured thatd be our final caus i wanted to write a yuri version
no luck we had to write a stupid essay on all the thngs that led to the death of Romeo and Juliet

i saw an AWESOMe compressed one this last year were Tybalt was a woman, and so was benvolio... that was an awesome pair.. i know they weren't in the orginal... but well i early days of that play they were all guys.. so i guess the yaoi part has always been the blood....

It's hard to find good Yuri couples. It's kind of a sausage fest, but I have to say I was always a bit fond of MercutioxTybalt. Guilty pleasure.
