Chao smiled gently, "that's all you can do. Try your best and be willing to ask for help," she said. It was the best encouragement she could think to give.
Cheshire grinned and cooed happily, wiping up some of the cheese shavings he leant over his chair banister a bit and clapped his hands, dusting Berial with the 'snow'. Now they were both pretty and snowy!

Erik nodded. He had his moment,s but he normally wasn't the stubborn type that would eer ask for help, unless it came to his inventions of course. "I still think this is a crazy place.. this Gaia.." He said with a roll of his eyes.
Berial giggled, feeling the cheese fall over hismelf. He let his tounge hang out, catchign cheese flakes as one would snowflakes.

"It is... but it's a good crazy, most of the time," Chao replied with a gentle flap of her wings. "You get... sortof... desensitized to it after a while."
Cheshire giggled back and leant back in his seat before the chair could tip, licking the remaining cheese flakes off his hands.

Erik finished his pasta and sighed contentedly. "I hope so.." He said, looking over at his child.. Hmm.. his child.. what a ring that had.. "Berial.. why are you white?" He asked suddenly, confused. He ahdn;t been like that before, ahd he?
"Snow!" He cried out, clapping hsi ahnds, sendign the cheese flying into the air in clouds.

Chao looked at the boys who were now covered in white, considered it for a moment, and looked to Erik, "at least it's no something liquid..." she murmured.
"Though.... Cheshire, you know you're not supposed to play with your food," she said sternly, looking at her son.
Cheshire wilted a little and gave his hands a last lick, "no' eve' snow food?"
Chao shook her head.
"Sowwry...."

Berial hung his head low as well. They'd done something wrong.
Erik watched and his heart went out to the boy. "I.. You're not spposed to play with food liek that, Berial, but someday I'll take you to play in real snow.." He said, as if to compensate.
Berial's face lifted instantly and he clapped, sending more cheese into the air. "SNOW!"
