Red~Power I think if he wants to smoke let him smoke. He obviously doesnt care about his chilcrens health if he smokes around them but he probrabley does what my dad did( go out to the garden and smoke out there) smile Johnny loves his kids more than anything. I seriously doubt he would ever smoke infront of them. I certainly have never seen any sort of evidence that he does. E.g. pictures of him and his kids

my mom and johnny depp r the same age and she has health issues crying crying but he looks fine so i think he pobably is fine

DJ LAZA I just heard recently that Johnny is a pro-smoking activist and is fighting for smoker's rights in public places... That's quite the turn off, indeed. rolleyes eew!!! That is sucha turn off!!! omg, i knewhe was a chain smoker...but the fact that he has kids and doesnty even want to try to quit and was smokers rights in public places! Thats just disgusting!!!

Ick, that is a big turnoff, but like what other people have said, although I don't support smoking at all, it's really Johnny Depp's choice whether he wants to or not. =/

DJ LAZA Apparently Johnny only rolls his own cigarrettes nowadays after he's decided to cut down. So whatever he's smoking, it certainly is much healthier than actual store bought cigarrettes which are crammed with hazardous chemicals and the whatnot. I think smoking is terrible but when you get addicted, I can understand that it's hard to pull away from something you are so attached to. I read that he only rolls his own too...

in the rolling stone magazine that was published a couple months ago the interviewer said that depp chain-smoked through the whole interview and in a lot of pictures that you see he is smoking those hand rolled cigarettes but for all those people out there who are worried about his looks here's something else to worry about, smoking deteoriates your looks

Tigerose08 I am conserned for him and anyone else who smokes or uses any other drugs or acholic drink. It isn't healthy. But Jonney's not stupid and I know he's aware of the risk. He doesn't go around saying "I'm so cool for smoking! Kiddies, if ya want fangirls like me, have a smoke!". I've never seen him put smoking in a positive light (ex: 'Inside the Actor's Studio' he said "I apologize for the poison I'm about to inhale" right before he started smoke during the interveiw.) And, unlike other fathers, he actually seems to give a rat's a** about his kids, so I highly doubt that he's blowing smoke in their faces.

He rolls his own cigs. Also, he has stated he thinks it is pointless to smoke and has cut down.
My mom and dad used to be all up in my face while smoking. I would get so sick. I don't think Johnny would do that to his kids. It's a horrid experience.

I know its his choice and thats fair enough, but he has his children to think of too, now. And like he said (no offence to anyone who smokes) but it really is pointless.
EDIT: I think Vanessa smokes anyway, if I remember rightly ...
