I think that he could because normally any other human would annoy him to high hell and too just get them out of his way he'd just kill her....but since he hasnt yet and in the 3rd movie he reacted to ren's call for help and allows her to follow him I think he may have a soft spot for the child...

i believe he is becoming to not hate humans as much i dont think its all because of rin i also think its because of kagomes kindness towards him as well. i also think that he is not showing his change becuase he is afarid of it.

he is turning soft, but i think he always had it in there...i think that he just didn't want to end up seeming like a worthless demon, because of being nice.....but its ok that rin is making him soft, because he needs her, and she needs him, its almost like a father daughter thing lol.....he can't help but love her, cause she loves him, and never was mean, or treated him differantly.....

but he did get mad when kagura died too, so maybe its not just cause of rin..... sweatdrop

In some respects he's turning soft... but it only seems to be when he's WITH her. When he's not and she's in no danger he's regular old Shessy. The one i dislike. lol. I think he knows it aswell and thats why he always leaves Jaken and Rin behind now a days. whee

I think sesshomaru is softer the same way that a lead bar is softer than a steel pole. He's still pretty frigid, and his dominating emotion is disdainful apathy.
