http://www.deviantart.com/view/18250773/Noses and chins aren't always bad, as long as they're small and shallow enough! After all, our very own Gaia avatars have them, and I'm fairly certain they're chibi...

Great tutorial, especially for those who already know techniques to draw manga characters. I don't like to draw chibis, but at least I now know how to draw "good" chibis. "Now know how"... I should try to learn proper english from now on, because I feel so "typo" often.[OffT] Still 34 days to live before I will finally get Wacom Graphire: crying If you can't understand those lil' comments, those are: -85 Squirts per minute makes sure dat u will pwn ur enemy! -Feel the force of supa soa'ta. Before I even saw this tutorial, I was already drawing Chibis. This is Edward and Envy from Full Metal Alchemist. However this tutorial gave me some really nice pointers! I used to do the 'chin' thing. Now I know how to make them look even more kawaii! ~Kairen~ ~Not all is fair in love and war~

XD;;; Wow, this was two months ago... sorry!;; I'll reply anyway in case anyone else is wondering abut this kinda thing, even if you're not interested in my answer anymore.;;;; ) GrayMist Heeeee! I draw my Chibi's with long skinny legs and arms. Ish that bad? *had this style ever since she was seven* PS: I luffs yer cute arts! =3 No, that's not bad! Really, judging by the many many different kinds of chibis I've seen,, any kinds of arms and legs are good.. chubby, skinny, big hands and feet, little hands and feet.. it's all good. mrgreen

Lucca Ashtear http://www.deviantart.com/view/18250773/ Noses and chins aren't always bad, as long as they're small and shallow enough! After all, our very own Gaia avatars have them, and I'm fairly certain they're chibi... Indeed, you are quite right. X3 I guess I've just seen so many regular heads on chibi bodies that I felt I had to go a bit overboard.;; There are many ways to do chibis. mrgreen (and also many levels of chibiness)

Ninja Sharpie Do you think you can make another that the face is faceing <-- that way? This one was very helpful and having trouble with side do you think you can? Hmmmm... I dunno. I think that's something you should work out on your own. ^__~ Tutorials work best if you just use them as a guide to learning techniques and methods, you know? Instead of drawing exactly what you see, you should try to make use of each tip and technique individually. (not that there are many in this tutorial.;;; But most tutorials have a more detailed process, and that's where this comes in the most, I suppose) If you do that, you'll be able to draw a chibi from any angle and in any pose. It'll take a bit of practice, but that's just a natural part of learning to draw something new. mrgreen Do you get what I'm saying? If not.... then, well, here's this, too;;:
