Of course girls can play video games. I'm one of the few girls I know who go to Lan parties and play first person shooters (UT2k4, Quake3, Battlefield: 1942, ect.) I'm more of, well I do PC gaming and Console, but I perfer PC.

Of course not! I play vgames a lot. Girls can be as good with videogames as guys are. There are a lot of female gamers at our school and very few of them suck.

gilrs so kick butt at videoga,es ^_^ i personally LOVE videogames ^_^ expecially rpg's, me and my friends are currently making a videogame and i rock at Smashbrother's melee ( expecially with Kirby)and this other game that i cant remeber the name of ^_^'

Denseka Well, I was at school today talking to my friends about video games when all of a sudden, some boy walks up to me and says "Video games are for guys. You must be a guy!" What an idiot.... Don't let you be put in such stereotypes. There is not even things like "girl games" or "boy games". I know quite some girls that like to play quake or similar, and also quite some guys that perfer games like Kingdom Hearts or Final Fantasy X-2. To be honest though, I prefer the latter. sweatdrop redface

Actually, there's a funny story behind that. I was at an anime conventiuon in the vidio game room, asking people to face me in Mario Cart. Everyone said that they coudn't face a girl in pink bows ( I came as Sailor Jupiter). But he faced me, and I kicked his a**. Then I just turned to him and said, "never underestamate a girl in pink bows". All the guys who were watching just left. I never got another challenger ^-^

The reason most guys think that girl's don't play video games, is because there aren't many games SPECIFICALLY marketed towards girls. I mean, the amount of T&A in a DOA game is RIDICULOUS! mad
Anyways...the games that guys THINK are marketed towards girls only, are really crappy games like "Britney Spear's dance hits" or some stupid s**t like that....
Meh, the last time someone said girls suck at Video Games, I took out my DS and started playing Metroid Prime: Hunters.

Omg, how can anyone say that? Thats a load of BS. I love video games. I'm not too good at a lot of 'em, but still. I like the Final Fantasy ones the best. Especially 7. Its the only one I havent beaten crying . But its still fun. I'm not much into the first person shooters or games like those. RPG is more my thing... If a guy had come up to me and said that video games were for guys I'd have decked him. I'm a violent person to people like that.. I'm not mean though. They're just sissys whee
