Michael had been about to strike but as the girl pointed to him, he threw his arms up in the air in defeat, spinning on one heal and slumping over. "Gah, if only you had given me one more second." He turned his head to look at the girl, a comical and joking tone in his voice. "I thought the Irish were supposed to love parties and pranks, ne?" He gave a heavy sigh. "Never thought I'd see an Irish party-pooper." He shook his head and turned all the way around.

The boy reopened his eyes to reveal the deep purple irises, both his eyes and his other facial features smiling. "But, I guess you got me. Hey, Rei-kun, you didn't tell me where you were gonna be. Anyway, I'm Michael. Michael Yohokiro. What is your name?" He leaned on Reiku, looking over the red-head's shoulder.

Reiku's blush deepend at his obvious blunder, misinterpreting Inari's words.

"Oh," he replied weakly, hesitant to go any further. He didn't know this girl from Eve, after all. His head snapped up on his neck, however, as she made mention of a boyfriend. Michael's face immediately flashed to mind, but he made no comment. He turned to follow the direction her finger pointed in, and as he spotted Michael he couldn't hide the smile that bloomed unconsciouly on lips. He nodded vaguely.

"Hai, that is who I am meeting..." The boy's voice trailed off and Inari's voice faded into the background as he watched Michael throw his hands up in defeat. "Hmmm... hai.. Irish, right," he murmered, not looking at her.

As Michael leaned over him, a comfortably warm weight against his back, he ducked his head with a slight blushas he spun around to face Inari once more, though he avoided her gaze.

"H-hi, My-kun. Well, when you said you s-s-see me at lunch I figured we'd m-meet at the caf.." He nervously toyed with his bangs.

Inari smiled at Michael's comment. "Oh no Yohokiro-san, I am a whole other type of partier."She stood, her body moving in one solid motion. She sat atop the table and leaned in, her nose touching Michael's."Inari O'Connel."She pushed away and slipped around behind the two. With another smile and a wink at Reiku she headed for the door. "See you around Inoue-san." The blonde set her hand on the door, blew a playful kiss towards the two and left.

"Well she's quite friendly, isn't she?" He pecked Reiku lightly on the cheek. "Why you gettin' tongue-tied, sweetness?" He moved to sit in a chair beside Reiku, pushing his bangs out of his face. "You're not 'embarrassed by me, are you?" He mayed a mock-hurt face. "I know we agreed not to be so close in public, but after not bein' able to see you that much, it's been really... Painful. You leave my heart empty, when I'm not with you, babe." He said this with all seriousness.

Reiku waved weakly to Inari as she made her exit, a slight chuckle escaping him. His chocolate brown eyes then locked with Michael's as he spoke. He quickly shook his head in response, too late catching the joking tone in his voice.

"No, never, My-kun. I'm not embarassed...it's just...I don't like people knowing my business..." Case in point, the librarian who had been harrassing him earlier gave a shocked look as she spoted Michael press the kiss to Reiku's cheek. He narrowed his eyes at her, then slipped his arms around Michael's neck, sticking his tongue out at the old spinster. She turned her back on him with an indignant huff.

Reiku smiled up at Michael at his words, surprised by how much they pleased him. His cheeks reddened slightly and he shook the screen of bergundy bangs out of his eyes so that the was no obstruction.

"Do you mean that, My-kun?" he whispered. "I missed you to, you know. Lunchtime couldn't come fast enough to suit me. Funny, I never much cared about lunchtime before..." He giggled softly, disbelieving of the words coming from him. "Oi! Did you make it to class on time. I'm sorry I seem to be such a distraction to you..."

He was a little taken aback by the jesture towards the librarian, but he didn't say anything. He smiled more broadly at the question. "Of course I mean it, and I'm glad that it's time for lunch. I didn't really get breakfast this morning, I'm starved!"

Once he moved to the second quesiton he fealt a bit uneasy, tracing the coller. "Well... No, I didn't. God, those shocks are bad, and that math teacher," he shuddered commicaly, "b***h." he stated it so plainly that he almost made himself laugh. "Anyways, how about we grab a bite? Are we gonna go to that student union place or head to the caf?"

Reiku looked postively stricken as Michael mentioned getting shocked. He pulled his arms down from around his neck, the began wringing his own hands, his brows drawn tight;y together with worry.

"You got shocked...that's my fault. If I hadn't been kis---er--distracting you in your room, you would have made it to class in time. Gomenesai, My-kun, I've done you a great disservice." He could not meet Michael's eye.

--------------------------------> Female Dormitory Lounge

Inari rushed into the library. She was on a mission and no manner of being was going to distract her from it. She passed the old biddy who was managing the library, completely ignoring the consternation expressed on the woman's face at Inari's passing. The young female student, rummaged through a section on analytical and engineering sciences. Once she found the reading material desired, she sought something more mechanically based but only located a magazine on automotive repair."This will just have to suffice." She mumbled.

She sat down and spread out her bood, thumbing through the pages after glancing over the table of contents to locate the information she needed. After some mental deliberation, the genious soon found that creating a pulse beacon to refract the collar's radio wave would be much more simple. All she needed to locate was the RF unit that was the probable source of the radio emission controlling the frequencies upon the various collars. Her mind sped through the concepts, organized each idea and jotted it down in her mental journal for later extraction during the experimental period."If I were a school...where would I set my receivers?"

"Hey now, don't beat yourself up about it. I was the one who left you in my room an all that stuff. Come on, it's not that big a deal. That git was on a shocking spree anyways. She's a real b***h, you know that. I bet dogs pant at her door to try and get to her." He smiled. That hadn't been a very good joke, he never was very good at those.

"Anyway, you wanna catch some lunch. I am really hungry."
PostPosted: Sun Apr 30, 2006 1:29 pm

"Heh, yeah, I know exactly what you mean. Onimu-sensei is one of those teachers who really enjoys her work, and I don't mean math." He slipped his hand within Michael's, smiling slghtly.

"All right, let's get some lunch. We can go to the Union, you just knw the caf is packed by now. We'd never get a table, unless we shared, and I don't think I'm in a sharing kinda mood."

If he were being honest, he'd say he would much rather grab a couple sandwhiches and head back to the dorms. But that was just too forward of a thought for Renji to verbalize just yet. Despite the fact that he had nearly bitten Michael's head off the other day, he was still a bit hesitant in falling so hard so fast. A voice nagged at him from the back of his head, warning him, reminding him of what had happened before. Remember.... Reiku shook his head sharply, shoving those thought back into the recesses of his mind. How long was he going to be expected to live in the past? The boy slapped on a smile as he led Michael out of the library.

"Yeah. I understand." He grinned, knowing that teacher would give him more trouble later. "Ah, you're definately right. Yeah, Student Union it is." He followed Michael out of the library. He drew a little closer in, fighting the urge to wrap his arm over Reiku's shoulder. "We discussed this..." he told himself, and with a slightly larger breath and exhale, though hopefully not enough to consern Reiku, Michael willingly followed.

Slowly Kaden walked in, hopeing he could find someone who might be able to help him with his little problem. and NOT laugh at him for it...After all it wasn't his fault he couldn't read...He had lived on the streets and he hadn't been tough much past what he needed to survie.

Drake was just walking in and looked around with a friendly face. 'Maybe I can get some good books here... I always liked reading.' Drake thought and walked over to the desk where the old woman was reading. "Escuse me. How goes the system to lend and read the books inside this school?" Drake asked friendly.

The old woman looked at him like she saw water burning. "Just pick a book, give it to me. Make sure you have your student ID with you and I write down that you lend it and you have to bring it back withing 3 weeks. That is all." She said with a hard and deep voice. It made Drake feel like he had to make sure he wouldn't make one misstap or he would die by her eyes.

Drake thanked the woman and walked to the first bookcase. Drake was looking for a thick and interesting book. He looked with friendly eyes and hoped to find the perfect book.

Kaden sighed as he walked down the rows of books looking at them. RUnning a thin figner over the spines woundering what they said. SO far he had no luck in finding someone to teach him to read and woundered if he would even find someone willing to help him.. KAden looked lost as he wondered the place.
