I don't wear anything on my head... My school is too small to have a marching band. We wore Santa hats for a Christmas concert once, though.

Stupid hats... like the Marines hats, only bigger... with the plumes... xp We've decided to kidnap the plume suitcase and burn them in order to get the new ones. Yes, we have new plumes, with sparkly things on them!!! But, do we use them??? NO!! We use the ones that if you shove the feathers the wrong way, you look like you've got a palm tree on your head. And some feathers get stuck there, giving you a weird look.
The tenor sax is infamous for having a 'tropical outlook'.

We wear black shakos with silver trim. ^^ The tubas wear berets, and they're damn sexy in them too.
Once my shako almost fell off during a show...and nearly took my glasses with it. And then I almost dropped my slide. And that's my stupid shako story. crying

We wear black shakos with silver eagles on them and black plumes that have silver tensil thingies in it.

Skye of Thunder Well the NORMAL people in the band have shakos But I, I am a sousaphone. I wear a beret. whee YAY!! So do I!! All my friends say I look French when ever I have it on!!
