Hooray! Freedom at last! Or something like that. feeling her mother's warm tongue against her, she stayed still momentarily as she allowed this to be done, before making her way to the warmth she could ony identify as her mother's side, and her siblings, ther hunger stronger than any pride that the newborn could even muster up at this time.
Attaching herself to her mother, she decided to drink her fill for now, as life was good.

The young male felt his sister prod him, only to prod her back, but more gentler.
However as another appeared, he gave a small, mewing sound.
Where were all these fluff ball's coming from?
Mpeka smiled softly as she watched her cub's tussle, only to give out another small, painful yelp at more contraction's that sent a small shot of pain through her abdomen.
She lay her head down and gave a soft grunt as the next cub practicly just plopped out, not much pain anymore though.
And thank the godess for it!
She then turned and blunk at her last daughter.
She picked her up and gently started to clean the young female of, purring louder before she looked at Kavu'.
"Last one."

The newborn cub landed with a light thud onto the den floor, squirming madly about on the ground in an attempt to look for her mother. Motobi'ata's determination nagged at her stomach, as she mourned with hunger. A squeal echoed from her tiny muzzle. Dragging her body ahead with her hindleg strength took a good few moments to master, before she headed towards Mpeka's scent, her little tail of fluff dragging itself helplessly along behind her.
Her speed gained quickly, even though it was still relatively slow. In a moments time, she had rammed her way through the crowd of siblings, to her mother's side.

Kavuasi breathed a sigh of relief, then, placing a kiss on Mpeka's cheek, began surveying and nuzzling each cub in turn. His mate and their cubs...! What a fine bunch they were, and what a fine family they would be! He knew his mother would be proud.
The last little girl caught his eye... She looked like Kinja and Kwana. Kavu felt his heart jump inside him, but he shoved it back down, and silently reminded himself that his cubs would not have to meet Kwana. They wouldn't have to be influenced by her. They could grow to be strong Firekin, not wanderers like he and his siblings had been.
Awoken from his nap by the shrill squeals of his siblings, the third-born cub mewed in protest, nudging his older sister as he tried to figure out what was going on. Why was everyone being so loud?! gonk

Khepri let out a soft sigh and looked at her brothers. One older that was poking her in the head, the other younger and poking her in the ribs with a question in his soft eyes. He looked a little confused.
But this younger sister of hers, the one that worked her way through the entire litter of cubs for food, well rammed was a better word for the action, she was getting on Khepri's nerves. This was bad.
Lifting one of her small white tipped paws, Khepri placed it on the top of her younger brother's striped head. A very "It's okay, don't worry" kind of action.
You're just weak.
Why are we bothering with you?
You'll never amount to anything.
Stupid cub.
Those voices were getting irritating.
Lifting her small body up as best she could, Khepri worked her way to the outside of her family and curled in a little ball. Maybe the voices would ignore her if she looked small?
Maybe.

Mpeka lay comfortably, purring at her mate's actions as she watched her young cub's.
They where so beautiful, just perfect in her eye's.
She gently lapped at her bright red daughter and then the rest of them as if to calm them down, only to smile.
A few thought's ran through her head about them, but nothing too serious.
Instead, she just lay there, letting her cub's feed and enjoying Kavu's company.
Finally the eldest male, gave out a small, squeaky yawn.
Raising his head up as he and his siblings where nuzzled and licked by their parent's before giving a small snort.
He just rolled onto his side after drinking his fill before drifting of into sleep.
Jeez.
He hoped he never had to go through THAT again.
((You can RP your cubs as kid's now that they're all born.
I'm just wondering whether or not we should do an ORP so that all the pride can meet them? eek heart ))
