Army vet here. Spent my 23rd birthday in Iraq, Desert Storm. Didn't give it much thought. I was just doing what I was told to do.

I hear that's the way is is in a lot of places, more so overseas
Here in korea I mostly work, I've been here over a year and have barely left post except to get a phone card sweatdrop

There's a thread just for cadets, however if you plan on joining the army you can post here as well.

I'm hanging in there... This summer is SO hot, and there are no A/Cs in Germany, so it's tough sweatdrop Plus, I have a college final next week, and then my hubby leaves for training for a month the week after that! eek Also, I'll be getting my wisdom teeth pulled out crying

Lol, enough whining, how have you been? Things better? heart

It's hotter then usual where I am too. Todaya nd tommorow are going to be around 36 celsius. Dean's been training since end of June and most likely wont be back till some time in August sad I hate getting teeth pulled. Most of my baby teeth ended up being pulled because they were dead and the new tooth was growing in behind them or infront of them and the darn things wouldn't come out xp Though that wasn't bad cause like I said they were dead so you didn't even need freezing or anything. I'm dreading getting my wisdom teeth pulled. Hopefully them getting pulled will go okay for you

You have to respect the army. Only 2 companies in the U.S. professionally wear the berret...The Army, and the girl scouts.
