Yes, clothing companies really get on my nerves sometimes. I wear a size 11 normally in jeans, but sometimes I have to wear a 13 due to things running small. Or, maybe, the 11's ran too big. Who knows? I can usually find my size in jeans, that's not the problem...

It's my huge chest. I absolutely HATE it, but there's no getting rid of it. I'm a 38 D, and I'd give anything to be a 36 C. X_x I can almost never find button-up shirts, because they do this weird bulgy...thing. Even when they're extra larges! **dies** It's really embarassing, and I hate it.

Yes. Clothing companies are evil. What REALLY bugs me is the fact that there's like, 10 skinny girl stores in my mall here, and like, 1 Lane Bryant, and one Avenue that you have to drive AWAY from the mall to get there.

Anyhoot, I'm going to Pittsburgh to go to Torrid. It's a Hot Topic for us rotund chicks. I'm going to get something very sexy to make my fiancee drool like uber crazy. Check it out, girls! It's a VERY cute store.

I can't wait. I'm finally feeling happy about myself. I -love- when I know I'm going into a store and something will fit me. We need more REAL WOMEN stores...not these prissy, fru-fru "I'm a size 1/2 and I need 10,000 different kinds of clothes, please!" *rolls eyes*

I am a inbetween a 38 D and a 38 DD, depending on the bra, so I can relate to your problem with button up shirts, that's why I stay away from them for the most part, but if you do some active searching through different stores *you'd be surprised what kind of nice shirts you can find at the Salvation Army/Value Village*, you can spot shirts that compliment your bust.

We don't have a torrid store here in Canada as far as I know...and that's fine by me, because there are only a few things that I have seen that I actually liked there...to each their own I suppose, but I am very glad to hear that they have a store for those of us who are more portly than most. 3nodding

There are a few stores in our closest mall *Scarborough Town Center* which have clothes for plus sized women that actually look decent...my problem in the past was finding nicely coloured/styled clothing..it's like the manufactures used to think "Well they're fat...they aren't concerned about fashion...let's make all of our clothes out of cheap ugly looking fabric...they should be lucky that we're even MAKING them clothes!" but now they actually have some really nice clothing for us which is bloody wicked biggrin

eurg. I hate clothes shopping...which is why I only do it in two big dollops twice a year xD before school and once winter kicks in. Okay maybe three...because I need new summer duds =D But I have three pairs of jeans that are 'supposedly' the same size...but are in varying levels of loose and tight.
The ones that work the best though are Illegal Jeans (I love that brand name xd ) They ish comfy...london blues isn't half bad either...got my favourite pair of comfy jeans from them and my mom doesn't want me to wear them anymore because the bottoms are all tatty from being walked on... sweatdrop

On Friday, I was shopping for new clothes for school. I found a pair of pants I LOVED, found my size, went into the fitting room to try them on--- they were super tight on me gonk

I went to a different store and tried on pants, in my size again, and they fit me perfectly.

Don't you hate how different clothing companies have weird measurements? Sometimes it freaks me out, because I'll think I've suddenly gained a lot of weight stressed

OMG that pisses me off!!! Ometimes cuz opf that you haveta get stuff like four sizes bigger and you feel like a cow! gonk

Well, theoretically it's because they use more material, but then they go and jack up the price on tiny little clothes with less coverage than a strip of dental floss. I think it's because they hate plus-sized people.

I got a "Hello Kitty" shirt from Torrid on Sale! WHOOT! *is wearing it, demmit*

I'm a little old for "Hello Kitty", but I had a bath toy when I was really young...and it was so cute and it was the only one left on the rack. I just had to splurge and get it for school comming up on Monday.

Pant size 26 here. If any of you like darker more "gothy or punky" clothes there is a great store for that. Its kind of like a Hot Topic for plus sized girls ((Infact they are by the same company that runs Hot Topic)) Its called Torrid. And if your a size 12-26 then you will be a size 12-26 in here. I never have any issues with clothes in this store. Its also got some more mellow normal clothes too. Its a great shop and if you have one near you i reccomend you go check it out. ^.^

Torrid is great! They're kinda expensive though. First place I was able to go and find an Asian outfit to fit me. I think they should make those in bigger size anyway. That fit and material looks great on curves. I didn't know they started at size 12. Kewl.

You think you're chest sux? I'm like a 42DDD or somewhere in E. I don't even usually bother with button up shirts! Remember when they came out with the cute lil shirts with the ruffle sleeves and ruffles down where the buttons are? I went to Labe Brayant ( I hate them cuz the clothes never fit me right) my normal shirt size ( for them ne way, and they're always still too big) is like 14-16, but to accomadate my boobs I had to get a 26 just so I could button it. The only time I can wear the shirt is with a jacket because I haveta almost tie it up in the back to make it look right. stare
