He walked Dinah into the academy to the the professer to notice him of the new arrival, but before that he rushed over to the fridge and got a soda and came back as fast as lighting

Curiosity, or so she was so nicknamed, walked confidently out of her room, sporting her newest fashion. Which happened to be a purple and orange tie-dye T-shirt, goldish denim jeans, and mismaching toe socks. She was walking around with no particular destination in mind, when she nearly ran smack into John and another girl. "Hey, Blizzard! Who's this? She's new, isn't she? What're her powers, Blizzard? We gotta get her a nickname!"

jeez girl, don't be so hyper active all the time as he laughed to himself, this is Dinah, I don't have the faintest clue what her powers are yet, but we'll find out soon enough he said.

Karma sensed what was going on in the main building, but ignored it.
Instead, she looked around the training grounds.
Benches lined the outside of the grounds, and one section of bleachers could be seen on the far side, facing the grounds themselves. A running track made a wide loop around the outer rim of the ground (between the benches and the actual training arena). In the Arena it's self stood a hodgepodge of different things.
A small pond sat in the middle, with no dock or boats or anything. It was a very deep pond, and certain 'toys' had been put in it to give any swimmer a proper challenge. To the west of the pond, was a combination of different sized and shaped crates and platforms. On the South side of the pond, the ground looked completely flat, but dont' be fooled by that, it was set to change, and it held many traps. 10 tall poles surrounded the Arena. At the top of each pole was a spot light, so as to allow people to practice at night. But 3/4ths of the way up each pole was something else. It looked like a black box, perhaps a speaker?. But it wasnt' it was a weapon, set to fire out different types of amo/energy onto whom ever was practicing bellow.

"So," Curiosity smiled as she averted her attention to the new girl "Dinah, right? And what, I might ask has brought you here? Do you have any powers?" She giggled "Of COURSE you have powers! What are they?" Her nickname came into action full force, along with a bit of excitment, too. She herself had psychic powers, and when she got hyper, like now for example, things started moving around that shouldn't move. Even though the wind had stopped the grass and trees were swaying. Suddenly Blizzard went flying 8 feet in the air before hitting the ground again at full force. She gasped. "Oh, I'm SOOooo sorry, Blizzard!" She blushed at looked at Dinah again. "I'm still kind of new at this." and she bent down to help Blizzard saying sorry over and over and over...

After taking a quick shower and drying herself, Enye got dressed and, picking up her towel, walked back to her dorm room. Thankfully she had the first period free today. She could sleep a bit.

"Hey, Enye." Said Sarah softly. "You okay? Blizzard's a bit of an idiot, huh?" She gestured to the commotion going on a few feet away. "But it seems to get him quite a bit of popularity. That new psychic, Curiosity and the girl who just got here..." She shook her head. "Just wait 'till they really get to know him."

Enye let out a short laugh, almost a grunt. "Yeah. I'm alright. It's always the jerks that are really popular. And besides, it was an accident," she replied, half asleep. Blizzard could be a jerk sometimes, but he didn't usually mean any harm. "Curiosity seems to have already gotten a name and a clique for herself," Enye noted.

Dinah stared at the two slightly open-mouthed and backed away a few steps. Espessially when the boy...Blizzard, had he called himself?...went flying as a result of the other girl's power. This wasn't...wasn't possible...
Her foot caught on the rug and she stumbled backwards awkwardly, flailing her hands. All eyes were going to be on her, oh god, and now she was heading for that glass coffee table...
"W-Woah!" She fell right into the table...and through it. And the floor beneath it, as well, leaving her head and one shoulder sticking out. Although nothing on the table was touched, the glass shattered, so she had to fling her arms up to avoid the falling glass.
"Oh, man..." She groaned, pulling herself out of the floor. "Not another one..."

Enye jumped, surprised by a loud crash coming from the lobby. She rushed out of her room, nearly bowling Sarah over.
"Sorry!" She called out quickly as she rushed to see what was going on. She finally arrived at the lobby and rolled her eyes. "Typical," she commented drily. Such accidents were of common occurence at the school, especially with newer students.

after john had regained conciousness from the fall he looked towards dinah in a drowzed voize. "wuzza goin on?" as he picked himself up off the ground

"Oh, man..." Curiosity ran over to Dinah. "Are you okay? Was it my fault? What did I do?" Then her face brightened up a bit. "Did YOU do that? Does that mean that your power is going through things? That is SO cool!!" She helped Dinah up. She suprisingly went right through the coffee table again. "Whoa..." She stared. She had heard about that sorta thing, but she had never seen it in action. "Oh, yeah..." She suddenly remembered why Dinah had been so suprised. "I'm a phychic, by the way. I can move things with my mind. But I'm new and my powers sometimes get a little out of hand when I get excited." She felt the blood rising in her cheeks, knowing she was probably going bright red.

Sarah walked into the lobby after Enye. She smiled and said, "Hey, cool! Another Shadowcat!" True, she wasn't really Shadowcat, but they had the same powers.

Suddenly Sarah just burst out laughing. This was just too perfect. Everybody making a fool of them self in front of the new girl. Some impression SHE was going to have of the X-mansion! She felt everyone staring at her and lowered the noise level to a quiet giggle.
