I went back in the beginning of March. We did this workshop thing where we got to play with Tarzan and our music directors did animal sound effects. rofl We also did marching down Main Street, U.S.A., and it was a BLAST!!! We were the only marching band marching that evening. mrgreen
P.S.: If you get to go to Animal Kingdom, go on Expedition: Everest. It's a ride that is worth waiting in line for.

my band director wants to take us cuz he's been planning a trip for the marching band since when i was in seventh grade and well i'm going to be a freshman so that's a friggin long time and well.... he might take us if we raise enough money biggrin

My band went to Florida last year for the Magic Music Days. I loved every second of it! But, we did not take a plane... there is nothing like a marching band on a luxury bus, that made for some good times.
I have a story about that, the bus stopped the morning we arrived in Florida and the band gets off and heads to a local McDonalds (we are healthy) all the girls of the band including me were in the bathroom getting changed, and some people made the mistake of having to go to the bathroom at that time... their faces were great!

How long did you travel for? I spent 18 hours on one of those stupid buses... We're going to Hawaii Spring Break 2007. mrgreen

Yeah, we're going, but not until next summer, so I have a miserably long time to wait. crying But we did march in the Virginia Apple Blossom Fetival this past summer and that was pretty sweet. Unfortunately, however, I just happened to be seated in the back of the bus right next to the facilities... burning_eyes <-- That's how bad it smelled.

last year when i wasnt going to the school they went to dinsey land in Los Angeles. we are just going to Universal Studios this year.

*le sigh* You guys are so lucky. This past year we lost our marching band, and before that we only had maybe 17 members if we were lucky. We've never had the opportunity to go anywhere on a band trip. Well, other than for football games. Goodluck to all of you guys, though! heart
