Oh yesss... The dragon's had gone in, one willingly the other... Grumbling the entire way. Close enough.
The feline grinned at the pair, kneeling at the edge to watch both creatures in the water before he got back in. "I'm sure Ephrem will get used to it." The boy called hoping to cheer on the cheetah with a little ray of hope. "No one can hate something forever!" Besides, the water was harmless enough. It was also a lot of fun once you got used to it, his mother just refused to see that.
The boy gave the orange eared woman a quick look before slipping back into the water, and once more looking like a rather comical swamp creature with his long coat of fur floating around him. In his opinion he had it quite easy. Think of a bird with damp feathers, his fur was nothing compared to the pain THAT would have been.
Seeing as how Citrine was being entertained by the sugar glider, Keanu swam over to attempt to show Ephrem he had it easy. Though he had the sense to keep some distance from the more than slightly disgruntled lindworm. "Ephrem, the waters nice and you'll dry off quickly when you get out." He didn't have any fur or hair to attempt to scrub dry, so he should definitely have a lot of fun in the water.
"Don't be a stick in the mud, if you stop thinking you don't like it you'll realize how great water is!" It was hard to tell if Keanu was being bossy, or just trying to help at the moment. Either was he'd gotten it into his head that dragons had to like water because it was a game to be in the pool. And it would take some serious work to change the leopard's mind.

Eh? What was all this now? Citrine wiggled and squawked comically as Vivina swam under her. Those scales on her belly were tough, but not so tough she was immune to being tickled. It felt weird! When Vivina finally popped up not far from where the copper wyrmling was treading water, Citrine narrowed her eyes--before using one of her wings to scoop a splash of water in the sugar-glider's direction. "Whrr!"
Indigo came pattering back, freshly showered and dripping water behind her. She paused a moment on the edge of the pool, grinning at the sight of the younger kids playing with her dragon, before clamping her nose shut with an upper hand and leaping into the pool herself. She landed not far from where Citrine was treading water, splashing both the copper dragon and probably Vivina as well.
"Banzai!" the velvet worm yelled as she popped up again. "...wait, I think I was s'posed to yell that before I jumped in. Oh well!"

Vivina giggled some more, but was soon cut off as a splash of water entered her mouth. "Gggaughle?" She spat out the water and shook her head, her hair sending water flying, mostly back at the copper dragon. "Ack! Smart dragon...Well if that's how you wanna play..." Vivina hopped over closer to Citrine and used her patagiums to her advantage. She scooped up as much water as she could and tossed what seemed to be a few buckets of water at Citrine.
Just as soon as she dumped the water on the dragon, she was splashed yet again, but this time from Indigo. At least she wasn't splashed as much as when Citrine did, but she still got splashed! Nothing's wrong with splashing, and it was fun. Vivina just wanted to get everyone wet the most. But there was a problem: almost everyone was in the pool and they were all basically equally wet. Shrugging, Vivina grinned and splashed water at both Indigo and Citrine without throught. "Splash! I got you two!"
Vivina giggled again and now was completely wide open for any attempt to splash her. Of course, she was lost in her giggles so she failed to recognize this and floated there in the middle of the pool.

It seemed something got through to the dragon. Keanu simply assumed the draogn decided to look at the situation in a more positive light seeing as he didn't know him particularly well yet. Nor did he realize that maybe the idea forming in his head to turn this into a form of water tag would leave the dragon rather confused, or annoyed. He wasn't sure. "Why does everything need to be explainable anyway?" He called cheerily as the girl untangled her leg fromthe dragons grasp to swim. If you where too cold in the water it meant you should move around more, which suggested a game was needed.
Which prompted the reaction Ephrem got to his advance on his next thing to hold onto. Without any warning the dragon got a quick 'gentle' tap on the head along with a 'You're it!' before the spotted boy attempted to back peddle away in the water as quickly as he could. Now the concept of tag was likely foreign to the young dragon, but that was yet another thing Keanu probably hadn't thought about. Games where games, and the universal idea of fun could reach anyone if they too the time to accept it. Which meant Re simply needed to be willing to have fun. He'd already settled into his fate of being in the water, so why wouldn't he want to join in? Though if he didn't... There could always be another victim to catch unaware in the pool. Perhaps the bronze dragon wouldn't mind the idea so much?

"Whff!" Citrine's eyes nictitated as she found herself doused with water. Copper dragons were creatures of the high, dry places, but adaptations against blowing sand served just as well against water. She ducked her head beneath the waves that Indigo's leap created, paddling toward Vivina with just her horns and nostrils above water. When she judged she was close enough, she pushed off the bottom of the pool with her powerful hindlegs, popping out of the water and fanning it with her wings. Raar, big scary dragon act! Which was a little muted by the fact she was, well, just splashing water instead of breathing acid or something like that.
Indigo yelped as she got splashed as well. "Hey!" she said, mock-offended. "What're you doing, splashing me?!" She didn't have wings, so she did her best to send a splash Vivina's way with one arm--then let Citrine handle the rest of it, giggling to herself.
The sound of someone being called "it" made the velvet worm whirl in place, gray eyes wide. "Oo! Ephrem's It~!" she caroled, before taking off in the opposite direction from Keanu in a sort of bouncy run approximation. Running in chest-deep water? Not so easy.

"Oh yay! Tag, and in the water, too, this should be fun! Right Re? Just like in the forest with G-Bird and Aja, come on!" Giggling hyperactively, the cheetah did her best to dart away from the dragon, although the water was heavily weighing her down. Of course. But this should really be fun, since her dragon companion was leaving his usual temper in the locker room, maybe he could let loose and have fun with strangers for once.
"Ruurr?" Roaring in question, Ephrem waded there, still, in shock, but only momentarily. It took a few seconds, okay, maybe more like thirty, for the situation to actually sink into his brain; being a little slow sometimes. "Arrr-ga!" Looking around, he needed a target! But who should he target? Not someone who would be easy to catch, he wanted a challenge. Well, that outlawed the weird pink haired girl, and the other dragon, hm. Well, the boy was closer than the purple girl, so he would go after her!
Darting in her direction, shakily of course, he was not a very stable swimmer. "HA!" He screeched, almost as if he were grinning.
Nearly laughing herself to death, it overjoyed, and cracked up, Sahra to see Re, her usual overly hot headed partner to become so fun loving so quick. "This is great!" She howled, nearly going underwater unwillingly due to the fact she was laughing so hard.
"Ack!" And with a mouthful of water, her laughing became tainted with a mixture of coughs. She hated pool water, it didn't taste good! "What a blast~!" But she would ignore it...for now.
