The information that was being verbally passed to her from the agent was a lot more valuable than what her scanner had tried to come up with. The shattered eggs that were still around on the ground had Lysanna wanting to pick up some remnants in order to further study them but she refrained from doing so when the Negaverse officer asked about the scanner she was using.
"Every member of my race has one. It's built in technology that we can activate at the touch of a button. But at the moment it's not telling me much besides the fact that the air around us has been infused with sulphur gas; from when our feathered friend up and disappeared."
Tapping the controls on her wrist the scanner sank back into its dormant position before she sighed, "I'm glad that giant birds are not the norm in the city. I've only been here a few years and I've seen way too many strange things come and go now. I like the variety of strangeness but sometimes it is a bit much."
She placed her hand on her hip before fastening her axe back to her side. Once it was secure the cadet glanced around before sinking to the ground in order to grab a few pieces of the broken shells, "I think I should probably head home but I want to grab a few samples to take with me. Are you taking any of them back with you?"

Carrollite listened to the explanation that all of Lysanna's kind had a built in scanner. She tilted her head a bit looking from one to the egg shells, "Well I'm not surprised about the sulfur. It smells horrid."
There was a nod in agreement, "I too am glad these feathered fiends are not common. I don't think we could handle the smell of sulfur if there were more than just --- seemingly this one."
Carrollite seemed thoughtful, "Ah, yeah might as well. Maybe the cats have something they can use to analyze the shells."
She sank to her knees near the shells to collect a few as well. She'd have to catch one of the cats later to see if they'd help her study these bits.
"Ah I should head off as well, I have a show to prepare for coming up and I need to make sure I've got everything ready and know where the venue is." She chuckled, "I hope I get to see you again Lysanna~!"
Carrollite said once she gathered a few shell pieces and dismissed them into her subspace. She stood up and gave a peace sign, "Duces~!" And with that the lieutenant headed off on her merry way.
