Storm had let his guard down and that was his mistake. As he nodded in agreement with teams being pretty important. "Yeah I'm trying to at least be better about touching in with the rest of the dark mirror senshi." He admitted.
He was too slow noticing the Captain emerging from the dust cloud and when he was tackled the senshi tried not to make a startled noise. As he caught the full body tackle, though that didn't mean he went down without a fight, he tried to keep his feet planted for as long as he could and aimed one arm for the ground with an attempt to turn the tackle into a sort of half side flip so the Captain would at least be on the ground beside him.
Storm thought that better than having the captain fully holding him down so he couldn't move.

With momentum on his side, Staurolite did his best to keep himself positioned so they would land with him on top. Being equally matched, though, he wasn't quite that successful. They landed side-by-side, the impact causing his hold on Storm to loosen just enough that the other would likely be able to move freely once he recovered.
Cursing inwardly, the Captain scrambled to try and get into a position to hold him down, aiming to flip him over and put his knee to his back while he tried to get hold of his wrists.
Storm was trying to wriggle free as soon as they landed and the impact of landing on his side had stopped being mildly disorientating. He didn't want to end up hog tied but he also wasn't sure his attack was charged back yet.
He needed a little timer that just went ding when enough time had passed. The dark mirror senshi was trying to still scramble away and keep Saurolite off his back, if he got free he was going to try to get back onto his feet.
If not he hoped he could fire off his attack again before Staurolite could get his hands behind his back. He closed his eyes and whispered "Venting Charge!"
Sailor Scout Attack: Venting Charge
When storm calls out his attack this causes vents** to open in the earth much like volcanic vents in a three and a half foot radius around him. From within those vents small particles of ash and dust swell and swirl upwards in flurries causing static electricity that can shock anyone within range of the clouds or inside of the clouds; they reach a maximum height of seven foot, but become less dense the higher up the clouds reach. This is fairly easy to dodge as long as the people caught up in the affected area is aware of their surroundings. This attack can last up to twenty seconds and be used twice but it has a thirty second recharge.
**The vents can be trip hazards. There's no real damage from the vent's themselves; but the static/electric charge is at it's highest levels here.

The static caused his hands to slip but rather than let Storm go he doubled down, biting back the pain as he just...knelt...on his back to keep him down.
"How long does this thing last?" he asked, thinking it was probably okay to ask during a spar. He was gritting his teeth already, the discomfort of multiple shocks mounting to an almost unbearable level. But he had to try! It felt like if he got up now, he'd be admitting defeat, so he was doing his best to hold on.
Unfortunately for him, the more he sucked it up, the less sturdy he wound up becoming, and more prone to an attack.
Storm was trying to figure out how to move and get away and wait for the right time give it a shot. The question though had the dark mirror senshi thinking, "Probably 20ish seconds? I haven't really timed it."
Storm admitted and suddenly he thought he might be able to get free but he worked to try and get either arm loose that he could and aim a punch backwards towards Staurolite's side. It wasn't a great option but he hoped it worked to get him out of this situation.
If it did work he wanted to get back on his feet before calling it quits.
