"Good girl," she said, and although she said it absently, distracted by the process of writing down phone numbers which she was pulling off her phone screen, there was almost a purr in the way she said it, as if it was a thing she said fairly often and in that exact tone of voice and thus, now, said without thinking. "And if these guys all end up being a wash you should download Tinder or something," she added vaguely. "It'll be easier to chase him away if you have something to replace him with even if it's just a full inbox."
