Clare was almost positive they had successfully captured Snubbull when the second Safari Ball burst open as well, the lock on that one also damaged beyond usability by the force of Snubbull's escape. Digging into their purse, they bypassed the last Safari Ball they had been offered to use. Digging toward the bottom of the bag, they pulled out a black Ball they had been saving for a little while now. The bright yellow "H" on top maked it as an Ultra Ball, thought hey couldn't say why it had an "H" shaped mark on a ball with no "H" in its name. Regardless, they gave Snubbull a curious look. "This is my last chance to catch you, I'm pretty sure. You better be sure you want to come and stay in the Ball this time." They admonished the small Pokemon before giving a third and final(as far as they were aware, at least) tap on the forehad. Snubbull closed its eyes and was drawn into the ball once again.

This time, the ball finally pinged after entirely too long for the hybrid to feel comfortable with after the first two had failed and they smiled at last. "Finally. Now you don't have to be so Rattled. I'll make sure you're not picked on and we can be great friends!" They assured the Pokemon now residing within the Ultra Ball before tucking it away."

"Well, that went faster than excpected. Want to spent some time training since we're already done? I haven't spent much time actually teaching you to battle properly yet with all my classes, after all. Outside of Professor Dendra's Battle Classes, at least." They admitted to M&M. The pair of Tandemice nodded and cheered in agreement. Battling was kind of fun but maybe they could do with actually following directions more? They usually did their own thing, after all.

[Chargestone Cavern]

Absinthe's Porygon Phone shortly locked on to a Magneton as it hovered over to Abby and buzzed menacingly at her, leaking a small amount of electricity as it did. Abby just smirked at it, though. "Magneton, not bad. That's a Rank 3 Pokemon. Buuut Rank 3 is a liiitle below what I'm looking for, sooo..." Abby pointed out. Her Pawmo jumped off her her shoulder, didn't even have to dodge the horribly-aimed Zap Cannon Megaton fired that hit the ground instead, and landed on Magneton paw-first with Focus Punch, making it faint in one hit.

Pawmaster stood on her enemy until it was on the ground, posed triumphantly for a second (which Porygon Phone did of course focus on), then leapt back on her trainer's shoulder. "Welp, that was so easy it was almost laughable. Let's see what else this cave has for us." Abby said mockingly before moving on.

[Chargestone Cavern]

They walked on a bit, but Porygon Phone looked back at Drillbur, feeling bad that it was getting discarded like that. Abby noticed this, and snapped, forcing Porygon Phone to focus on her. "Something. Else. Come on," she insisted. Porygon Phone's facial features made it seem sad about it, but it followed orders.

[Chargestone Cavern]

"Another one of these, huh?" Absinthe asked as another Magenton hovered up to her. Her Pawmo must have been just as annoyed, because it used Mach Punch before the Magneton could start buzzing at her trainer. This didn't knock it out, but it certainly made it angry. Pawmaster leapt off Abby's shoulder, ensuring her trainer wouldn't be hurt as Magenton retaliated with Heavy Slam - which did quite a bit of damage to the Pawmo. It was pretty far from knocking Pawmaster out, however, who landed a five-hit Arm Thrust and knocked the wild Magneton out.

"You good, Pawmaster?" Abby asked as her Pawmo reclaimed its perch on her shoulder and nodded. "Aight, I guess we're back to looking for something worth catching," Abby shrugged.

[Chargestone Cavern]

As Absinthe wandered through the cave, Porygon Phone focused on a Tynamo. Abby was quick to snag its attention, though. "That's a Rank 1 Pokemon. No way in hell," she told it. Her chat didn't seem too happy at that, claiming that Tynamo's ability made it busted in competitive battles. Abby didn't seem to notice, though.

It was another Drillbur. Not happening.

Porygon Phone's next focus was on Plusle as it played with a Minun in hole. It couldn't focus for long, though, as Absinthe ignored the Plusle outright. Her chat seemed to think this was the right choice.
