Watching the other Novella looked her over, watching her move to sit down. Was she feeling sick from the idea of someone being caught inthe gears and either losing an arm or stright up dying? He could understand that, it was sickening but not as extreme as she was feeling. "I wonder if there is more of them..." He whispered, wondering if that was the last knight to cal lthis place home? It would have to be, right? Whoever came next would have removed thebone in order to get the clock working again...right? Or had they ignored it? Someone would have come here to remove the body, or the part, and handle things. So this had to be the last person and no one came here....no normal person?
He knew he was thinking about all kinds of things, assuming what else had happened after whatever accident had happened here, but how could he not? It was a logical series of jumps and possabilities. She would certainly think the same thing, and he knew it, she was smart enough to think of this all as well.
"That or we can try my walking stick and hitting it hard..." He wasn't sure on her staff, though it was possible, it just had such an uncomfortable to weild due to it's top. "But wouldn't it be a bother if it started working right now?"

Thinking sluggishly for a moment, she looked at the gears. It needed both of them in this case, probably so she got up and grabbed her staff.
Looking over the gears, she found another spot that would keep things jammed for a bit and slowly wedged the end of her staff in. "Okay, that should keep it from starting up so you can try getting to that." Pointing at the bone, not sure if she really wanted to touch it.
"There isn't more of.. them in there." That she knew, but she didn't like the idea that she might just find the rest of herself somewhere in this clocktower. She still hadn't found the key to the basement and had only really explored some of the grounds. There was more that she had to do and never enough time.

"That's good to know...I don't think I want to knock this bone out and have more fall out." Like a skull...even that would get him. Stepping forward he raised his walking stick and smacked at the bone from underneather, to try and force it up and out...and likely into the air. He didn't care so long as it was out from where it was, so her clock would get to working as it should.
"Do we wait to see if, or when, the rest is found and bury them somewhere? If so - where?" Here or on Earth? It would be the right thing to do...right? Or did it even matter? He had a feeling it would matter to her, even though he knew it wouldn't matter to himself, she wasn't as lacking in emotions as he was.
"Or do we do something with this...bury it?" He really wasn't sure but he was hoping to know what to do with it...it couldn't just hang around or lay on the floor. It was rather unsightly.

Watching as the bone shifted and tumbled out, she gagged slightly as she saw it wasn't just part of a forearm but still had the hand bones attached even if it was partially crushed. With that though, she put some additional oil on the gear where it had been and pulled Novella back as she pulled the staff out.
It took a bit of force, as the gears had caught it when the other blockage was removed, but once free the gears groaned and started to move. She felt something in her chest as she saw dust starting to fall from up above in the clocktower. And after a long moment, she heard a ticking sound pick back up. It was a relief after all the stagnant silence she'd experienced here.
Looking around, some of the things that had seemed frozen in time started to move. It wasn't everything, but it was a start and that was more than she had gotten done so far.
Patting them on the shoulder, she looked down at the arm. "I... would rather not touch it but I need to find the rest first." It was more than unsightly, given she still felt phantom twinges of pain in her arm.
"We can rest a bit, if you want to clean, you can, but I'm going to try looking over the schematics again. Good work, you did well." With another pat on their shoulder, she turned to sit down at the des,k pulled out the stack of papers that she still had no idea how to translate.

Jumping back as the bone fell free and landed on the ground, not wanting it to land on him, he was surprised it had been easy to free up. He hadn't expected that when he looked it over, drawing in close and bending down to inspect it, he found smaller bones still there.
"You have it working..." Trailing off, perhaps in a bit of awe, as he looked up and found gears moving and things working. This clock hadn't worked in how long? To seeit working gave him hope about his own wonder, about cleaning it and getting it liveable. He could do it, it wouldn't be that hard, it was just going to take time and that meant a lot more trips up there.
"Ok, so perhaps at some point we find the rest..if possible." It had to be possible, the rest had to be somewhere, and than they could handle that. "I'll clean a bit, but if you want to point out things in the schematics I'd be more than happy to look." To learn, because he always wanted to learn, he did wander off though to get to cleaning up.
