Point taken regarding the name, but I don't think something called a "rant" is completely unmanageable, either - I've been a moderator of forums, as well, and any thread that was ever called a rant was managed. It just took a bit of patience and time and the agreement of members to abide the guidelines (mostly the last thing).

Having said that, considering the nature of the art world around here and judging from responses, people would rather prefer not to, and that's fair enough (:

I was thinking, like in other forums, why not to make a subforum for 'houses'. Yes, everyone could get his own thread, and make it his/her OGAWG home. Dunno... I like how it works in other guilds (Though, I had never had enough time for setting up mine, just thougth it would be a good idea x3 )

I agree with LD on the monthly theme for the MAE. From 'halloween' and 'Valentine' to '', 'has anybody seen my pants?' themes... rolleyes xp

What about an Exquisite Corpse Drawing? Maybe one pic of all the members of the guild, with each of us painted by ourselves...

Yep. I mean, you'll have your own topic: "Raesha's uberfantabulous home" or however it's called, and in that topic you put all kind of stuff you want. Your favorite pieces, your shop for OGAWG members, your OC's stories, whatever. And people would go there if they want to talk to you. Making it your own space.

I like the idea of the minishop subforum...we sell art in our own R&C. XD Mini R&C!

I think there needs to be a more specific dividing of "show off your art", one for writing, one for drawing, maybe another for craft, photography? & we can also have seperate competitions within the guild to aim for a particular topic?

Maybe we can have a carnival or something too?

I also like the journal/hangout idea. biggrin

Oh & a story...!! A story to come in & read in the guild & every week there's an update & people vote two different choices of what they'd like to see happen next. biggrin [I'd love to do this. XD] & we can create the characters together, it could be one big project. biggrin

hm....Lili, if you won't mind borrowing your idea....maybe mahe occasional events like they were in Lilithia Hotel? I loved them, but it were ages since the last one happened...? Like....everybody talked, there were themed minishop boothes only for this particular events, special themed chat threads and games and stuff....but ikt's for Lili to decide since it was her idea at the beginning^^;
