"No, fall and winter become very magical in this city and s**t happens. Things always happen and are unpredictable." He answered while he waited till both gargoyles got close enough to use his magic on them, hoping it would work. Both gargoyles were now airborn and moving to attack, preparing to dive bomb him and Sasha, it was as they closed in that he used his magic. "Wisps compulsion."
Just as the words passed his lips, and the magic was cast, one of the gargoyles slammed into him and sent him sprawling across the rooftop with a gasp as his breath left him suddenly. His back in pain as he curled as tightly as he could, to protect himself, the eternals eyes were closed as he tried to catch his breath and gulp down air at the same time.
"Owww..." Long and drawn out, between gulps of air, the dark haired male bit down on his bottom lip for a moment. He wanted to ask the other about the gargoyles, and make sure they were ok, but he couldn't get the words out as he lay there having been sent several feet away from where he had been standing.

It didn't sound good or pleasant unless they also meant those fireflies. They had been pretty even if they did zap him. Jumping slightly, he looked up in time to see Chaldene getting knocked back behind him on the rooftop. Looking between the two gargoyles and the other, he scrambled up as quickly as he could and got over to them.
"Ah!" This wasn't good, he could tell they were hurt, and he touched them gently. "Need to leave." It wouldn't be good for them to stay here even if the gargoyles seemed to have collided with each other from Chaldene's magic. They had broken a bit, leaving them grounded and disoriented but he wasn't paying as much attention to that right now. "Silken Wrap." Mumbling as he moved his hands over them trying to figure out where they were hurt the most, he watched as his moths fluttered around the other shedding their dust and silken threads to help ease their pain and heal their wounds. It left him so very tired, slumping forward a bit and yawning as his face pressed into their side. As they move around an ally's wounds some of the damage will be healed. Medium lacerations and bruises will be healed most of the way or a drained ally may find some of their energy returning. "Yeah...we do." Between breaths he got his words out, because they did indeed need to get out of here. This wasn'tsafe, he'd take the other to see gargoyles some other time - when it was safe. Here and now was clearly not that time, maybe when the weather was nicer as well. He had bee ntrying to show the other things in this city, things they might like and enjoy, and appreciate since they were new to this planet and had lost a lot. He figured it was good if the other found things they liked here as well, so gargoyles when it was safe would be on that list of things to show them. Now was so not the time.
Sighing as the pain eased, and lessened, green eyes stared at the other. "Your magic?" He asked softly, having not seen or been on the recieving end of it before, he had a feeling this was it though. It was helpful, as he suspected it would be, and he reached up to poke at the other gently. "Come on, help me up and we can go. It's not safe here."

Nodding sleepily, he rubbed his eyes and face before standing. Offering a hand to help, he swayed slightly from how tired his own magic had left him. "Home..." It would be a first but he was probably going to be sleeping at night this time, he wouldn't be awake for long after they got home.
At least nothing else seemed to be coming close, the stone gargoyles lay unmoving again, much as they had been when they'd first gotten here. Part of him wanted to make sure Ian was okay but his eyelids felt heavy as he helped them up. "Tired..."

"Your magic leaves you tirted?" He questioned, curious, he'd never seen someone else left tired by using their magic. He could assume that using it a lot, which the other had not done, would leave a person tired and worn out but Sasha had only used his magic once. It made no sense really. It did have him worried though as he stood at the others side.
"Come on, before my magic wears off and they decide to attack us again." And he grasped the others hand and made to hurry them off - they needed to put distance between them both and the gargoyles. "You can sleep when we get home, where it's safe." Because he didn't think he could carry the other all the way home, so Sasha was going to have to make it.
