Aloysius watched and slammed a fist against the invisible wall as he watched the bats. They were bigger than the ones he'd encountered and there was no way they hadn't gotten bitten. He hoped things wouldn't end up horribly because he'd only gotten bitten one time but if they got bitten repeatedly would that make things worse?
It would definitely be a hot bath to help ease the chills but he worried if they would get riled up and angry as he had the year before. He'd felt bad for cracking the tile in the shower stall but he hadn't been in the best headspace at the time either.
"Just a bit further then we can get you home."

Home sounded perfect and that was where he wanted to go right now. He shivered as he picked up the dice, fallen on the ground, and hurried to his partner and wrapped his arms about them. "It's chilly....and I don't think it's cause I felt like I was submerged in water either." Submerged and drowning, but he left the last bit out right now, as he held onto the other and soaked in their warmth and just the feel of Aloysius in his arms.
"Can we order dinner from the place you had in mind? And baked goods too? Or we can drop by there..." Somehow he'd make it work...they could go for the car and he could stay in the car, with the heat on, while Aloysius ran into the bakery and maybe even picked up dinner to go. Rather than ordering from uber for delivery. He didn't want tonight ruined entierly, it had been such a well planned out surprise by the other.

Moving slightly, he took his scarf and coat off and wrapped them around Liam as best as he could. He was taller but the other was broader than him so it didn't fit quite well but he hoped it would help a bit. "Home and I can put the order in, we just need to make it back to the car but since we only made it a little ways from the university it should only be a few minutes walk. I can make you hot cider or another warm drink when we get home. I know how this feels from before."
Holding them close he was glad they were both out of this odd board game, maybe he hadn't gotten as hurt as the other but that didn't make him feel any better about it all. "I can order soup, it was what I had planned on getting for myself anyway because of the cold weather. We can get home, get you a bath, and then lay by the fire with that small roll-out mattress you got." They'd made and solidified the argument on getting the thing via Amazon so it had arrived just last night. He hadn't figured they'd try it out this soon but he wanted to make sure they didn't get too cold if he could help at all.
