Csuri already knew she'd be returning to the few clubs she deemed fine. People didn't ask her to be chipper or to show her soft side. Honestly, in her clubs, she preferred to be left alone. The quieter of the two was (sometimes) Literary Society. She'd also more-or-less been bribed to join the club by Alice, who was totally not one of her trusted friends... even if Alice seemed to think they were.
She walked in, seeing the chosen book in stacks. Ah, it was a great series. She had read all four books, but she definitely didn't mind a good, old fashioned re-read. Alice was being talked to by one of the first years (Ravenclaw, maybe?) about a history book. So instead, she walked over to the sign in, and worked on that. Once done, she stepped to the side and waited until Alice was done captain-ing. After all, she wasn't planning on talking to Alice's quiet friend. "I've already read the books, but I'll read them again. Are you planning on reading the full saga?" Csuri was curious. Otherwise, she'd just read them on her own. She Accio'd her well-loved copy of The Dragon Thief, which appeared in her hand after a short moment.

Ella had already been in the Library ahead of time for Literary Society, so she figured she could get started on the set up process. Usually she had Alice there to help, but she figured her best friend would be along shortly. Sneaking out of her little hidden area, she offered a small wave toward Madame Forne. Setting out some nice, homemade cards for everyone to fill out, Ella also set out a little cup of colorful ball-point pens.
She had a book in mind to read for the first meeting, but she would need Alice's input on that topic. Besides, other club members - or Alice herself - may have better ideas. Ella set down the book she'd been reading, 'Calea vântului' on the table, rather than the English version 'The Way of the Wind', which was in her satchel. It had been one of the books she's purchased at the Romanian market that she figured Alice might like. She looked around, wondering if they'd get club members first or if Alice would appear first.

Oh boy, it was time for the book club that she and Ella had formed a couple years ago! She hadn't expected it to be as popular as it had been, but that was more than okay. Alice loved that she could share her love of reading with so many others. They'd all written recommendations for books to read this year and Alice had carefully planned the entire year's book list so that everyone knew what they would be reading. Despite her desire to do so, Alice had restrained herself from reading all the books in the list ahead of time so that she could read them with the rest of the club. Checking her watch, Alice smiled as she walked into the Library. She was early so she could get everything set up for the club. After a quick chat with Ms Tamra, Alice headed over to where the book club met up. She saw that Ella was already there and had gotten everything already set up for the meeting.
"Frick," she said under her breath, then smiled and embraced Ella. "I see you beat me here Ells. Thanks for setting everything up. What's this?" she asked when she saw the book that Ella had set out on the table. Looking at the cover, she was confused by the writing, since it wasn't in a language that she understood. Alice could read English and Latin, and this wasn't either of them. Blue eyes glanced up from the book to her best friend, a smile still settled on her face.

While she was very carefully making sure everything on the table was in nice, neat lines, Ella didn't notice her friend approaching. When she was pulled into a hug, she instinctively froze, a small squeak escaping. As Alice spoke, Ella let her tensed muscles soften. She blinked a few times, then looked over at the book on the table. Based on the beautifully designed edges, that was the wrong edition! No wonder Alice was confused! Quickly, the brunette reached into her bag, offering over a book with a similar cover. "S-sorry, this one is the correct one. It's called 'Calea vântului'," she said, her accent becoming a bit more rigid on the words. "I picked it up at a quaint little bookstore in Fundătura Ponorului this summer. I wanted you to read it, so I searched to find an English edition back in Kenmare." She sighed softly, her dark hair falling in front of her eyes as it did when she got a little nervous over things. Hopefully Alice wouldn't investigate too deeply on why she'd been in Romania, but if she did, Ella was prepared to just say it was a vacation for Serghei's proposal.... it was sort of true, anyway.

Csuri had been in the student kitchen, making herself dinner while she read her book. It was way too stressful to read comfortably in the Great Hall, after all. Once she was done and everything was washed up, she headed up to the library. Literary Society had been a pretty good way to get her hands on new books and discuss them, even if sometimes the meetings got a bit rowdy. She wondered their book schedule as she walked, wondering if they'd picked anything she'd recommended the year prior.
Walking into the library, Csuri noticed there were only the two captains there yet. Oh, good. She preferred to be early to things. "Evening you two," she greeted simply, before adding her name to the sign-in sheet. Once done, she plopped in one of the nearby chairs and flipped her book open once more, content to hide in the newly discovered fantasy world. She'd have to see if the shop in Hogsmeade had book two, otherwise she'd be placing an order to her favorite shop soon.

It was time for the third club for Carter to join and while she wasn't as excited for this club as she was for the other two, she knew this was going to be a great club for her to join. Thanks to her Nana reading to her every night, Carter had found a love of books, specifically the romance books that her Nana says she is too young to read.
'Not that Nana would ever find out about that. Carter mused to her self as she walked toward the library. Over the last few days of trying to find clubs, she had taken so many wrong turns, but the Literary club was the easiest of the clubs to find.
However, she was the most nervous for this one. Out of all of the other clubs, this one only had older students at it, and Carter was worried she wouldn't seem sophisticated enough for them. They all looks so cool and casual in the way they held themselves and the books they were holding were so much cooler than her. The book she had brought with her was the 'Maze Runner' by James Dashner, and she doubted these girls would read something to childish as her.
Still, she knew she wanted to be in this club, so she pushed her nerves down as far into her as she could and grabbed one of the ballpoint pens, and filled out the form before even saying hi to the group of girls.

When she was done, she put her head down and pulled up a chair and tried to sit in a super cool way, but probably ended up looking ridiculous with the Maze Runner in her hands. However, she noticed the Slytherin captain was reading, so she flipped opened her book and slowly started to relax as she fell back into the pages.
