Saras 8 "I don't know what its like to have family like that. My Dad's entirely too devoted to my Mom, which is adorable. He's like a pup." she giggled. "Meanwhile Mom is as tempermental as a Kinfa...which is ironic since that's what my brother was training with." She muttered as she lookd to the skies. She blinked seeing a Kinfa fly across. "...much like that one."

Morleas 9 "Maybe he is closer than you think. What does he look like? He had spent a lot of time at the cafe and was reasonably familiar with the locals that wandered by to the market. The perk about writers block was the abilty to people watch waiting for inspiration to strike. He too gazed up at the wide wingspan. "They are such beautiful creatures but I'm not sure I would be brave enough to fly on one. There is no net, though I gather they do have saddles or straps?" He had a critter but that critter had no wings. Currently Salazar was out fishing while his master moldered in the cafe. Though the company today was quite choice.

She hummed softly. "They do have saddles, I remember helping my brother learn how to care for his. That way he wasn't risking his Kinfa's health with a poor saddle." she blinked. "Well, first off, we're fraternal twins. Born at the same time, but since our Dad had Aisha in him...my brother got their head feelers..."

Morleas 10 "Saddles make it just a bit less scary that is for sure." He was intrigued. He just wasnt sure he would ever be able to ride one. But it would liven up some of his books he was sure. "That is cool, I've always wondered what that would be like." He had no Aishan blood to speak of. "I also like the eyebrows." He grinned. "Did he also get some of the height?" He was of course average height but for an author that was sort of a good thing as he spent most of his time hunched like a prawn over his work. "I have no siblings..probably a good thing? Or if I do have more..Dad hasn't let on."

She giggled. "We both did actually. I just look smaller when I sit down. Mom says I'm all leg...my brother is all chest." she explained, standing to show the male what she meant. The female was rather tall for a female. She hummed as she sat back down. Smiling over to the male. "I hope that's not intmidating. Most guys are unnerved by a female taller than them."

Morleas 11 “Ahh, well good thing I am not most guys. I like a striking female who is proud of who she is. That is why I write as I do, I imagine how she would think how she would act, though some things still baffle me.” He was male after all, he understood a lot but perhaps some things had to be lived to be understood. “You my dear are elegant.”
He scribbled a bit in his notepad, usually ideas for latter books and such. But there was a tiny sketch of them there at that table now. Of her standing up and him looking on in mild wonder. She was very well put together, probably had some sort of nobility in her with those etched cheekbones high bearing and very sweet self. No doubt she was some dad's pride and joy.
He was happy that he had bumped into her, very much so, his life had been so lacking in really good conversation.

She blushed at the male's compliment. "Thank you..." she hummed softly. Looking around the area. "Where would you suggest one would go for sightseeing?"
She was curious. Part of her wanted to find her brother instantly. The rest of her was terrified to find him.

Morleas 12 "That depends on the sights you want to see, there is a pier, in which the ocean is showcased and often people catch stuff off the pier. Then there is a mountain trail that you can rent a quhar in your case or a radaku and they will help take you up the mountain, its a smallish mountain but it puts the coastline and forest in perspective. I could get you a garden tour of a friend of mines, the cherry trees are in bloom. There is also an art gallery and a bookshop and thats pretty much it unless you head down the beach. There is a little secret Inn there that spoils its clientel so I hear."

She perked up at all those suggestions. There was a lot she could do before returning to her task at hand. She could find her brother later. She knew where he lived. Humming in thought she nodded. "That trail sounds wonderful. A radaku would be more familiar to me. Oh, the gardens sound amazing as well."
She was utterly giddy. That Inn sounded familar to her.

Morleas 13 "The gardens are best enjoyed around now when its a bit cooler. He grows all kinds of things with his family and always likes to let people see inside. They have radaku as well." He had a snaptrotter whom he figured might like the walk. "I can arrange for transportation if you need. He is not a radaku but he behaves around ladeis." Salazar was his pride and joy. He had been sold the critter by Thallassa if he rememebered the brother right. "He is a snaptrotter but has a nice even smooth gait. It beats walking if you feel off at all." He loved the Matori wind it seemed to keep him fresh at least. Though the heat would be upon them before long.

Saras 14 She smiled brightly at him as she nodded. "I would love to meet him. Mother's always wanted a snaptrotter to travel with us between the Inns, we have one in Zena and the other here in Matori." Which always made her wonder why her brother never checked into the Matori Inn. It reaffirmed her Mother's fear that he hated them afterall.
"Who's your friend?" she aske curiously.

Morleas 14 "His name is Salazar, I got him off that big shouldered trainer from the beast ranch actually. He has been by best friend and near constant companion ever since. He is out in the stable at the moment having a spa day if you would like to meet him after?" He sounded hopeful. She was very good company and he didn't think he was ready to be done with that quite yet. She was bright and kind hearted and had had it much rougher in life than most of the people he knew. "I didn't know you could love a reptile that much until I got him. I'd bend over backward for that overgrown lizard." He even got him special treats from the butcher.

She chuckled softly. "Of course I would." she smiled warmly to him. "Oh I know of a beast bond, my brother...he has a Kinfa. Loves that sweet thing to the moons and back. I always..." she trailed off. "I always wanted a similar bond...just never found the right beast."
Of course with her weak lungs and weaker immune system it was a struggle. She had to be careful of the cold seasons.

Morleas 15 "I hear there is a ranch around here that specializes in critters, perhaps you could go and find a friend. I didn't realize what it could be until I had one of my own." He rose, I'll bring him out of the stable so you can see him. "Hes probably done his meal by now. I'll be right back." Morleas retrieved his best friend, gave him a lecture he didn't need on manners and then presented the large beast to Sarasnata. "This is Sallazar." Salazar was a large forest green and black boy with red eyes that matched his masters' exactly. Sallazar sniffed at her huffed contentedly and curled up in a rather large ball by their table.

She felt her heart melt entirely seeing the large beast. "Oh look at you." she squealed softly. Reaching out to stroke his velvet scales gently. "Oh you are just stunning, aren't you? So well behaved too." she giggled. "Most snappers, as my Ma calls them...are hyper little things. Love jumping and snuggles."
She hummed. "I've always loved their energies...perhaps I can look into one of my own."
