“I’m ok with puzzles - we can do them together. You can get better at them in time.” It wasn’t a bad thing to work on, as puzzle solving skills led to skills which helped in other areas of life. He’d even read somewhere that as people got older, very old in fact, those who did puzzle games seemed to keep their cognitive skills about them as they got really up there in age - it was a good thing.

“Alright, so we can do something for mourning, you tell me what you want to do and I’ll help. You deserve that since you never got to mourn back then.” Because they’d been unable to leave their own home world, and he understood that, the other needed closure to things so he could move on easier.

“Piercings, not decorations. Though I suppose you can say they are decorative…they are called piercings.” And he did like that the other seemed alright with them.
