- Liam nodded as he listened to the man takl about his husband and the rest of their kids. Liam looked down to scribble in his notebook, Family man, son of the owner of Hogsmead salon. His thought drifted off as he looked around some more. The space was clean and modern, something he also jotted down, now seeing the review coming together slowly before his eyes.
However, his eyes perked up when he heard Finley speak of music and leaving that career for a more stable family job. "Musian to salon owner. Quite the interesting story there." Liam muttered to himself, scribbling down more.
He nodded and listened intensely to the advice on hair masks for Scarlett, nodding when Finley deferred the skincare. That is exactly the kind of business he likes to get behind, one that is locally owned, family-centered, and admits when they don't know something.
A smile forms on his face as he hands over the money for the products. Turning to Coty, he smiled even brighter, "I bathbomb of rainbows! That is so cool. I think I might have to pick up one of those." He stood and shook Finley's hand. "Blood Moon Bath & Beauty is on my list, I will make sure to stop there. Thank you again for your time. The haircare of Diagon Alley is in good hands."
He left the shop with more than enough to write his story, so he quickly apperated back to his apartment to set up the gifts of Scar on the bathroom couter for her to find, followed by sitting down for just a few minutes at his desk to type out a very rough draft on his typewriter.
The Cutting Edge Hair Salon is run by Finley Archer-Knapp, a family man with two wonderful daughters and a partner. When I was at his establishment, we talked about many things, as the clean and modern environment is perfect for relaxation and time. The space is filled with plants that add to its appeal of the store. Finley is very knowledgeable about the business. His father is a salon owner in Hogsmeade, and Finley spent time in the summer there, claiming those summers were the best time he had. When he branched off on his own, trying for a music career, the owner realized that being closer to family was more important. While salon owner Finley still plays for his children and partner, he now has a stable career as a salon owner.
He has a wonderful group of stylists working on him, notably his youngest daughter, Coty, who was a massive help in finding the products and solutions I needed. Along with that, Finley doesn’t try to sell something you don’t need, or pretend he is an expert where he isn’t. Shouting out another shop owner for the products he isn’t a specialist in, rather than pretending he knows.
Overall, this shop is a recommendation, and I know I will be visiting again with my wife in tow the next time either of us needs hair care.

Liam sat back in his chair after he had finished the rough draft, a smile on his face, before he crossed out Cutting Edge. He appeared back in the diagonal alley, ready to head to the next stop.
