It would have been nice to have had a mentor of sorts that helped her out at the start. Someone to have put her on a path so she didn’t feel so directionless. “Most of the people I know are Senshi,” an understatement since she honestly couldn’t remember any Knight’s name. It's not like they had regular get-togethers outside of catastrophic events that pulled everyone from every faction to one place to take care of a threat.
“Although we have similar goals, I feel like they function under a different set of rules; not just with magic but what’s expected of them with Homeworlds where we just have Wonders.” Erica wasn’t sure how much sense that made and would be glad enough to answer whatever else Mel was curious about.
With at least one bag of groceries in the back, she shifted the gear into reverse and pulled out of the parking spot once the navigation kicked on and began giving initial directions. “I may not have the answer to everything.
