He eyed her right back. "You know I have thought about it and whatever spark is in your eye is likely correct." He grinned back at her, she didn't have to say it, what they were doing now and the passion that they both had shown each other was indeed telling enough. Partners in crime in yet another similarity. He was sure they would achieve wonders together.
"Also I would still like to see the sailscales if I could, I uh brought my whole coin purse just in case. And if Dad is paying for the big boy then I might indeed be able to go home with more than one critter, though I think my parents will forgive me, Dad brings tons of animals home anyway and mom doesn't care too much so long as they collectively stay off the beds."
Onward they went to the sailscale aviary or so she had called it. He supposed it made sense as they were flying creatures.

"Oh yes, no problem." She kissed the huge snaptrotter on the snoot. He remained stunned yet sort of honored that she out of everyone would choose him. He had been transferred as no one on the other coast had wanted one that looked like so much of a handful. Though his old trainor swore he actually wasn't that bad compared to some of the firebloods that came from the south, spicier, swifter and angrier than the coolblood giants of the north of his lineage.
She lead her cousin to the sailscale enclosure and set him loose in the atrium to look for someone he might like and who importantly might like him. Sailscales were smarter than people gave them credit for from her observations and their opinions mattered. They made great friends when treated right and were downright awesome to have. She wanted to tame some in Sauti herself and expand the bloodlines of the ranch.
"Take your pick!" She grinned and enjoyed watching him interact with the graceful flying lizards.

In fact he did indeed find a critter that he liked, a sea green female with yellow markings on her face and points. What a darling, she even had black swirl patterns overlaid like lace over top of that. What a stunner. He was so lucky. "That one there with the yellow marks and sea green base coat." He held a chunk of meat out until he caught specifically her attention and tied a band around her leg, that functioned the same as the collar on the others, also in his signature teal.
"I think that does it for my wallet, she is of good breeding but I have enough for any sailscale." He had saved for a long time and he was happy that most of it would go toward this purchase. He need never be lonely or without a form of communication one way or another again.
"Thank you so much for your help today cousin." He shook Seathra's hand through the cage mesh companionably. "This went a lot smoother than somehow I thought, it is pretty neat to see how big of an operation this really is that your family has here, I see why Dad is here more often then not."

"Not a problem." She took their animal numbers to a hired handler that was actually quite good at their job. She gave him some whispered instructions and took the boys pay, giving him 15% back because he was family and she could and he was supporting them with his own pocket, she found that admirable and Grandpa Kiyelts wisdom came back to her about loyalty and good homes being first and foremost in their business, it was their standard and she would stand by it too.
"They will be waiting for you and your Father when you are ready to leave." She gave him a small welcome parcel with the ties and tethers for both of his critters. "The collar apparently came from your Mom and mine, she had a feeling you would go with large as a choice. The flying leathers are from us. As are the treats for the sailscale, we breed our own bugs you see." She opened another package, cleverly from her Dad, he had an answer to everything. It was extra wide, he had thought it at least likely she would choose beefmaster Diablo as her chosen.

With shaking hands he took the package and took a deep breath as well, this was amazing. "Thank you." There may have been a tear or two coming out his eye. His cup was over full in the best way possible.
And at the end of the day when it was time to stop all the visiting as there had been many family members from this particular branch eager to get to know him now that he was a bit bigger than newborn, particularly as he showed an interest in critters which was all for the win so far as the Ninyelt clan was concerned. His father had spent the day yacking and watching them with Ushi secretly from the bushes. Undine still had no idea where they had been, as he had been a little too focused on the critters.
There they were janarim in halter and sailscale in a travel cage, order of critters to go. His father had also taken on a few newer projects. Surely it would be a lively walk home with all of these critters. He hugged Seathra before he had to go, quite tightly too. "I will see you again, cousin."
