She was certain Aloysius would work from home if he could, or rather more than he already did, Desiree was more than right and he was certain of it. He would have said as much but when he stepped out into the mostly empty classroom there was one big difference and it was more than his energy signature it was the uniform which went with that energy signature. He didn’t feel like a super anymore but rather an eternal.
“Desiree, is this why you wanted my henshin pen?” He questioned, looking at the cat. “You could have told me.” Shaking his head he took the time to finally look himself over and it was…a lot to take in. Poor Aloysius who had no doubt spotted him by now, though for his part Melpomene wasn’t looking at the other yet. He was busy looking himself over.

“Well maybe I wasn’t sure if it would work, you are the only dark mirror I’ve encountered.” Jumping down, she circled him and took a good look at the changes. It was quite a lot and if anything they looked more like what she would expect from an agent in a way. There were a lot more military-themed bits and bobs on them and the overall uniform looked cleaner. She liked it quite a bit and settled down to sit at their feet while she watched Aloysius.

He’d heard a sound, one he knew pretty well, the squeak of the wood on the cabinet that held the full-length mirror. It had always been there but he’d never really had a use for it until Liam. Looking up, he jumped a bit because whoever stepped through the mirror didn’t quite look like Melpomene. Immediately his thoughts went to who else might know about that mirror in the cabinet but then he heard their voice and Desiree’s and calmed himself.
Getting up from his desk, he walked over cautiously and looked over the other as they were looking at their reflection in the mirror. “Melpomene?” Speaking quietly, he moved closer but still kept out of arm's length just in case, more out of habit than anything else when faced with something a bit new. Taking everything in, he noticed black wings on their uniform and remembered how Lacerta and that other Eternal he’d met in Mirrorspace had the same wings as well. “Oh, you got a promotion? Or rather ranked up? I never really know what the process is called for each group.” Outside of what he knew for the negaverse that was.
At least the classroom door was locked so any students or civilians couldn’t walk in and happen upon all this. But if they were an eternal now, that meant they had some more power and could get out of situations a bit better. Overall that meant he could worry just a little less, that he would have just a bit more time to get to them in the worst-case scenario if there was ever a repeat of what had happened the month prior.

“You should, perhaps, get to know a few more members of the dark mirror. I don’t think we really have contact with chaos cats really. Though I know Acubens spends time with one named Katya, I’ve heard her talk of the cat plenty of times, apparently the mauvian spends a lot of time with Acubens and has helped bring people into the dark mirror rather than the Negaverse.” because her general wasn’t around to do it, and Acubens was right there, so it was one way they gained new members.
“You can say promotion, it sort of is, even if we aren’t as militaristic as your side. I think it’s however someone wants to think of it themselves, a case by case thing.” Shrugging he really wasn’t sure himself but he also didn’t care which way it was worded - it was all the same.
“We were coming here to visit and go home together.” Letting Aloysius drive them all home together. “I let Desiree tinker with my henshin pen, I didn’t know what she was planning, while I made dinner for her. So now when we get home I’ll make us dinner.” And he was walking right into the others personal space and pressing his lips to the others. “What do you think? I think it's a bit flashy, attention grabbing, but it’s not bad…I suppose it fits the sphere.” Bleeding hearts…had he ever told Aloysius what his sphere was? He couldn’t remember if the other knew really.
“The wings are good though, those I like.” He really didn’t mind the uniform all that much really..it just seemed too flashy to fight in really.

“I look forward to it, hopefully, when you bring me along I can meet more of them. I think Aloysius would be alright with that for more than a few reasons.” Moving out of the way, she rubbed her side against Aloysius’s shins before stretching herself out on the carpet just behind them both. It was sort of scratchy so it felt good as she moved on it.

It was a nice surprise, in more than one way. He’d been a bit worried about the other since they weren’t home all the time anymore now that the cast had come off. Eyes moving over to Desiree as she rubbed her face on the carpet, he really did wonder if the mauvian of his was more guardian in a way. The kiss was nice and he wrapped an arm around them. “Dinner sounds lovely, I lost track of time today and forgot about lunch between grading exams.” Tracing his fingers along the strands of gems on the wings of their uniform, he really did like all the little details.
“I like it, even if you are flashier than I am now. Some of your uniform reminds me of things I see on agents so maybe I like that a bit more too.” He never really thought much about his own uniform, it had stayed relatively the same throughout his promotions but he figured it was due to his weapon needing fewer things to get caught on. It didn’t matter much in the end, if anything the less he looked like a general, the more he could get away with diplomacy with his signature covered.
“I do still wonder what your sphere is, I know it effected my feelings in a way when you used your magic on me. I assumed it was something related to mood.” He’d thought about it here and there but after that one occurrence, he’d never seen it used so the timing never seemed right.
“You can power down if you want though, and Desiree can take on that glamour while I drive us home? I think if there are any students around the campus it might not be a good look if I had let a cat in. I do apologize about that though Desiree, you can blame the board and its rules.”

“I think it’s a bit too flashy for my liking but if you like it I’m pleased.” Because he did care a lot, maybe even too much, about the other’s opinions on things including his appearance. “I’m surprised you never asked my sphere, especially after being caught with my magic.” And even more so now with him looking like some goth girl's poorly designed valentine’s day card. “It’s bleeding hearts, that’s the sphere. It’s a plant but my sphere and magic took on the other meaning.” Meaning rather than magic based around a plant it was emotional…and his uniform looked like some Valentine’s disaster rather than some garden fairy, which he was glad for. He was certain he’d seen someone else in his court who did look like a garden fairy or something similar.
Powering down as he leaned against the taller male, letting his chin rest on the other's shoulder. “Speaking of driving, I need to get to learning how to do that soon.” Because he figured it would be useful, and helpful as well, if he could drive on his own. He’d just have to borrow the other’s car, seeing as he didn’t have a car, once he got a license.
“We could work on that once I graduate, since that’s coming up.”

“I do like it, you look very good.” It was cleaner looking in a way too, almost formal and he did like seeing them more dressed up. “I had thought about it but I never really knew the best time to bring it up since you never needed to use your magic when we went out. It makes sense though, the theme as well as what your magic did. I wonder what your stronger magic does, if it functions the same or not. I noticed things can take a turn for Eternals, so it might not do the same thing. I am curious but maybe not enough to get hit with it myself.” Anything could happen and he didn’t want something to happen to his mood too much if it would end up being the opposite of what happened before.
“Yes, yes you do. I wanted to wait until your arm healed up and you got some of your strength back into it. By then you should be back to normal maybe? My arm never really was the same but I also never had it treated properly and I never went to the gym really either.” He still had a nasty scar from it but at least he’d gotten the dexterity back. Pressing a kiss to their cheek he looked at Desiree as she finished her stretching and got her glamour going. It was always a surprise, how tall she was as a human. She was taller than Liam but shorter than he was.
“I can drive us home now, I finished up almost everything I needed to do and the rest can wait until tomorrow.”
