Yngvara 4
"Maybe, but away from the sanctuary." She offered a little nervous grin, "For the animals sakes." Sterjne knew where to go within the village's boundaries, but out in the free world she did as she pleased. The sermal wouldn't know what places were 'safe' and an altercation with a beast or it's caretaker could be the end for her hunting companion. Staying close enough to call on family without bringing the beast too close would be best for everyone involved.
Leaning in a little closer to Ziya, Yngvara murmured, "Det var tegn til brann rundt ruinene og flyttet stein. Noen andre har vært der oppe." She made sure to keep an eye on not only Talisia, but the girls, keeping her voice down so they wouldn't hear.

Silfi 4
"Revna. Whose your friend?" She wanted to reach out to touch the Chiavi, but having been raised around mounts that would sooner bite your fingers than take treats Silfi wisely kept her hands to herself. "Looks young. Alsoooo--"
Silfi turned to her cousin and slowly started to approach. She didn't want to spook the kinfa, but honestly she was just as interested in it as she was her sister's companion. "I remember what this one is; it's a kinfa, right? Poor thing, it must have a hard time in the winter."

Now that Yukiyo had landed, Talisia took her time dismounting and walked slowly over towards the group. "She's adjusted so she handled it better than other kinfa would." Replied Talisia warmly as she greeted Silfi. "Not that I recommend taking them from their regions, they much prefer Tale or even Sauti to this. Yukiyo has been with me since she hatched and didn't want to leave my side so she endured Zena for me." The hybrid rubbed a hand along Yukiyo's neck, calming her as she faced the group. "Should I prepare some guest beds? Are you and Yngvara stopping in for more than a brief visit?" She didn't mind, it had been a while since she had seen her younger cousins especially Yngvara, and so they would find the room somehow. Even if they wanted to camp outside of the sanctuary because of certain beasts they could at least share a meal together or something, right?

Revna smirked, obviously amused by the interest in her chiavi. Hers. She stroked the edges of his wings lightly before looking back towards her sister. "Polaris, he's the chiavi that I bonded with while Ziya has been learning from Talisia." She stated lightly, keeping her chin up even as Talisia approached. Though she did falter for a moment, wondering if Silfi's presence here meant that she would have a chance at a raptrix or chiavi as well. There were several young ones running about the sanctuary and not all of them returned to the wild...the thought made her golden gaze narrow suspiciously as she took a step closer to Polaris. At least she had bonded with one first, that was still something even if Silfi found one too.
"Are you staying? I suppose there's some room where I'm staying if you want to spread out some bedding." The rooms were big compared to what she was used to seeing back home, even if they couldn't all fit on the bed there was space for bedrolls near the fireplace. Maybe...it would be okay to share space since she hadn't seen either of her sisters in a while.

Ziya nodded as he realized Yngvara's meaning. "I'm sure Tally would understand. There's a clearing north of the village that's not too far, it's a good stopping spot for travelers." If they wanted to make camp instead of staying at the sanctuary itself then it would be the best bet, especially for a wandering sermal.
His happy expression did falter though as Yngvara whispered to him, the hybrid's gaze narrowing as he tilted his face away from the others so that they couldn't see. "Egentlig? Så de noen spor for å fange de skyldige?" Who would travel all the way up there? He didn't know if he should be more worried or confused with such news.

Silfi 5
"Well..." She looked over her shoulder to Yngvara, but when she saw the way she was catching up with Ziya she just shrugged her shoulders instead. "A day or two for sure, but I think Yngvara's going to be camping out with Sterjne. I'd like a bed, though, or even a pallet if you have one to spare." The girl was utterly shameless when she smiled. "Or, I guess I could share with Revna. It's not as if we haven't before. Just as long as you don't kick me or hog all the blankets."
Polaris, huh? She wondered how Ada would take to him. Their mother's chiavi was one of the oldest in the village, even if she was just in her prime, and had a habit of keeping males at a distance. Maybe it was something that chiavi just did or maybe it was something unique to Ada. Either way Silfi sort of hoped she ruffled his feathers a little, just to get a rise out of Revna. Nothing too serious; just a little spook.

Yngvara 5
"Noen få, men ikke noe solid. Jeg kommer tilbake når jeg har forsyningene." This was the first time it had been mentioned outside of their hunting group. Once they had all returned home they would make the case known infront of the village's elders and get a scouting group together. Yngvara, naturally, would push to be part of it, but even if it was taken away from her someone needed to look into it.
"Jeg skal fortelle deg mer senere. Jeg vil ikke bekymre jentene." Then, before her expression could sour anymore, Yngvara reached over to wrap her arms around her brother. "It's good to see you again. I didn't realize how long the winter could be without you."

"Of course." Talisia nodded. "You're more than welcome to stay as long as you'd like." She would never turn down one of Zyphire's little ones, that was for certain. Well...maybe not so little any longer. Talisia shook off the thought, the hybrid just happy to have some family over as long as they didn't burn the sanctuary down or something drastic.
"If you both want to share a room to spend more time together then that works for me." Replied Talisia with amusement. "We'll make things work." They had plenty of extra bedding to put around the room either way. "And of course if you don't mind helping out around the sanctuary then I could introduce you to any of the animals staying there." It was how Revna had met Polaris, after all. So why not give Silfi a chance?

Revna couldn't help making a slight face before just waving her hand up and down as if it was fine. "We can share a room." She decided before shooting her sister a glance. "There's enough that we can either share or find the floor just as comfortable." The sanctuary was like luxury living in comparison to some places, she could understand why their Far argued for certain items that others in the village would question the importance of. Most just lived to survive before coming down south, not to find comforts in life.
"While you're here though...did you have any ideas of how to pass the time? Other than just helping out?" She looked at Talisia with a slight pout, knowing the older hybrid probably intended on letting Silfi get away with a familiar if she could bond with one too. If she could bond with one that was. Revna narrowed her gaze thoughtfully, not certain how she felt about either potential outcome.

Ziya frowned as he pondered over the news. What was going on? Though part of him wondered if it was just a sign that they should leave the area alone. It had taken so many of their ancestors...why spill more blood over it? He knew better than to suggest such a thing, at least here, for fear of causing an argument. It wasn't as if he didn't respect their history, it was just more that Ziya wanted to keep his eyes on the village's future.
"Jeg kan se på lillesøster." At least he could offer to watch over Silfi if Yngvara needed some time in the area to get supplies. "Oh? Are you going to say something like you need my hot air to keep the room warm?" He teased, immediately shifting gears as he placed his own arms around his sister and tugged her closer for a hug. "You're here so surely we'll have to do something together. Any plans for when you aren't away?"

Silfi 6
"Oh, uhm, sure." Chores? They'd already done enough on the mountaintop to get ready for the celebration and then there was the long walk down...But, if it got her closer to a potential mount of her own...Well, if Silfi's eye turned a little smug when she looked at Revna who could blame her? "I'd love to. Anything to help out."
A part of her didn't mind getting under Revna's skin, but in truth...Silfi wasn't so sure she wanted that sort of bond. Some in the south had mounted beasts for no reason other than they found them pleasing, but the Ild'vann had always made it clear that mounts were for hunters or others who brought worth to the village. Since Silfi wasn't so sure where she fell...it felt a little wrong to be looking for one just yet.
So, instead, she offered, "Actually, I was thinking you could help me figure out what this is." While Yngvara wasn't looking, Silfi brought out a little rune stone from her pocket. With the way she was standing only Talisia and Revna would be able to see it. "I found it lodged in the ruins. It was still warm. I was hoping you might know something Tally or maybe Eresin?"

Yngvara 6
"More like I need your big head to stop the cold from coming around the doorway." She rolled her eyes and let out a breathless laugh. It really had been too long. As close as she was with her sisters nothing compared to the bond she shared with Ziya. Around them she had to keep a cool head, act as the 'big' sister', but when he was around she could afford to let her guard down.
"I wouldn't know where to start." She murmured. "I want to do something fun, though. Something fun for them." Yngvara nodded to the girls. "And for us, if Tally doesn't trap us cleaning out stalls."

Talisia chuckled. "Don't worry, it wouldn't be too much." She reassured the young teen, recognizing the hesitance when she mentioned helping around the sanctuary. Did everyone think her a chore master? The very thought made her own lips purse in protest before the sight of the stone made her expression shift even more. "Do the Ild'vann use a lot of magic?" She asked, reaching out so that her finger grazed across the stone lightly. "That's a fire starter for anyone familiar with rune magic." At least that was what she assumed it was based on the runes that Kian carried with him. Even Eresin had brought out something similar before when they needed a fire while camping.
"You should be careful when picking up something like this. Any spark of magic and it could have ignited your belongings." It wasn't as elegant as what Kian had, her twin preferring precious gemstones to channel his magic, but it was definitely a fire stone. The question was why would someone have left that behind?

Revna immediately went from peeved to perplexed with Silfi brought out the strange stone. Her frown only increased when Talisia explained it was a fire starter, the teen looking back at Silfi with concern. "I don't know of anyone that uses runes to start fires." They were mostly hunters, not magic users. So why would that be at the ruins? Was someone just traveling through....all the way in the northern mountains? The chances of someone just happening upon the old village as well...it definitely made her worried.
"Silfi. Did you say Yngvara was going to be gone for a bit?" Revna's gaze went towards their older siblings, her concern growing as she realized how quietly they had been speaking. "Maybe you should show Yngvara that before she leaves." It wouldn't be the first time they had tried to have secrets between the siblings and Revna didn't like it. As much as she loved hiding her own treasures, she didn't like thought of matters like these being left hidden.

"Pfft." Ziya rolled his gaze with a chuckle. "You mean you just miss seeing this handsome face." He quipped back before nodding at the idea of something fun. "We can figure something out. What about some competitions or festival foods? There's a baker in town that delivers goods to the estate, we could always ask her to make something to share with the girls." He knew Tally would be up for something like that, she was always more than eager to help despite the abundance of chores. Though Yngvara's comment made him chuckle, knowing full well that it was quite possible to get roped into helping out more while they stayed at the sanctuary.
"Though...we may have a bit of a distraction." He admitted as he let go of Yngvara and glanced over towards the others. "Are you sure Silfi isn't aware of anything?" It looked like their secret huddle had somehow passed onto the others and it made him wary.
