Sitting up with a groan, Brassite's smile faded a little even as the senshi's figure disappeared. What had the other girl even failed at? She hadn't been on time to stop her, but that was just a matter of chance. She could've just as easily not been in the area at all, not seen that there had been anyone who needed help and just gone on with her night, thinking everything was okay and that she was making some kinda Difference. There were probably dozens of other folks around the city dying for lack of a do-gooder tonight, and the girl hadn't failed them either.

That was the problem, Brassite realized, with the so-called Order folks. They were passive. They relied on chance. On ******** Destiny in a joke of all jokes, to make sure they were in the right time and place to stop someone in the middle of doing what they deemed Bad. This was why the Negaverse was better, at least for her. She wanted to make a change, to stop a person from doing something terrible again and again? She could just go out and take care of it. No getting tied up in laws or the moral impetus to be the Good Guy.

Standing up with yet another groan, the lieutenant gently touched about for the bruises, hurting but satisfied in the physicality of the fight's aftermath. It'd been nice, after this string of careful hunts, to throw herself at someone else with power and stand back up at the end of it. She'd have to try harder to find spars among her fellow officers. Maybe annoy someone until they wanted to give in and show her a thing or three.

When she left, she didn't bother looking back at the night's victim. He'd gotten what he'd deserved, and far as she was concerned, that was the end of it.
