Ethan walked with her to her home, he would ask where her first aid was. Getting it, he treated her wounds to the best of his ability, tending to a cut above her eye where the bear got her as well as any other wounds she may have gotten. When done, he stood there, "I... I almost... why?!" He asked somewhat but before she could say anything or even cry, he pulled her into a hug, she could feel him shaking some, "I thought I lost you, that I failed to protect you." He said shakenly, "I almost hurt you... you should have told me, when I saw the scene here I thought some monster drug you away and killed you... then I almost did..." he said as he held her, "Im sorry, please forgive me." He said holding her.

Ethan found that she hugged him back and that she wouldnt let go, she actually had a strong grip on him, not hurting him, but strong. Hearing her words, he gently held her, "If you would have told me before that you could shift forms, maybe I wouldnt have reacted the way I did, I was scared and by the end, I was desprite thinking you were gone because I failed. However now is not the time to be thinking about last night." He said gently lifting her some, craddling her legs under one of his arm as she was hugging onto his neck, hecarried her to the living room where he sat down and had her sideways on his lap but still hugging him as he held her, "Zoey, we have a lot to talk about later, but right now we should both rest, I just want you in my arms right now knowing you are still here with me." He said gently touching her cheek, "And just for the record, I dont care if youre human or a wolf yokai, youre my Zoey and I dont want lose you again." He said sincerely as he had never felt more worried or scared in his life.

He felt her nuzzle against him, feeling her lean into his touch as he gently touched her cheek. He felt her lean against him, felt her tail in his lap and how snuggled she was up to him. He held her, moving his arms only to grab the blanket drapped over the back of the couch to cover them up with. He would fall asleep as well, waking up a few hours later around noon, seeing that she was still asleep. He still held her in his arms, rubbing her back and looking her over, she still was a beautiful woman, despite her true appearance. When she would begin to wake up, gently he kissed her cheek, "How did you rest love?" He asked kindly hoping she rested well, "So before anything, do we have to worry about another shift tonight or was it just last night during the main full moon?" He asked not sure how her shifts worked but felt safer to ask first.

He would listen to what she had to say but he would gently touch her cheek, almost as if he was getting a proper look at her, "So this is what you really look like?" He asked softly, "Youre still just as beautiful as your human form." He said honestly, "If I may ask, and im trying not to be rude or questioning... but is their any other things that I need to be worried about?" He asked concerned a tiny bit but this was just him asking to make sure she wouldnt accidentally maul him if she transformed or lost control again.

(Sorry about the wait, im up out of state to help my dad move, its been... a bit stressful.)

Hearing her warning he nods to her as he looks her over gently, "Well as long as you promise me to not scare me like that again." He said softly as he saw that she got nervous, "Not like your appearance, I mean worrying that you were dead." He said softly gently kissing her forehead, "I dont care what you look like, or what not, nothing was scarier then believing you were no longer in my life." He said as he held her. They would cuddle for a bit but he helped check her head wound before helping her to her room to get her to rest. When she would wake up, she would find him asleep on the couch, he had cleaned up and made sure the signs of her transformation were cleaned up.

Ethan slept for a bit, but as she covered him witht he blanket and began cooking, he woke up some and smell the air, "Smells delicious..." he said as he stretched, seeing her and finding that she was still her true form, "So I wasnt dreaming..." he said softly, though it likely could have been taken as him hoping it was a dream, he smiled softly, "You didnt have to cook for me love but thank you, you should be resting after a transformation night. I can only imagine how tired you must be going through something like that and you fought a bear to protect me." He said softly, which speaking of, he walked over and checked her bandages.

Ethan found that she was right, her cuts had begun healing much quicker, likely due to her ability to shapeshift into the wolf form and back since that wasnt the easiest process for the person due to the shifting of muscle and bone. When her tail wags, he notices it in the corner of his eye and smiles lightly as he would still check her bandages and make sure she was okay, "Well im just glad your safe." He said but as she would seem happy, his smile waivered some, "Zoey, I have to apologize to you." He said softly, "I let my fear get the best of me and I almost hurt you thinking of you as a monster even after you protected me from the bear." He said softly, he felt guilty for pointing the gun at her.
