“We all wanted you home safe.” She leaned forward and placed a kiss to her niece’s forehead. “I even had my brother out looking for you.” Though her brother did end up with Thal’s sister so he would have ended up looking for her anyways. “Trust me, we’re all glad to have you back.”

She smiled at her aunt and nodded her head. “Okay.” She sniffled and wiped her nose one more time before she stood a bit more tall. “I just worry..” It didn’t help that she had missed so much and felt a bit awkward trying to find her place again.

The leafling let go of the girl and chuckled. “Worrying is alright, but talk to someone about it. That way it doesn’t eat at you.” She motioned for the girl to come with her. “Here, why don’t you help me brush down this radaku to relax your mind.” Doing something simple might help her to calm down and take her mind off of stressful things.

When she was motioned forward she tilted her head but did as she was told. When her aunt told her what she could do to help she gave a bright grin. Being helpful made her feel like she had a place and a purpose. “That would be nice, thank you.” She reached out for the brush so that she could get started. She was actually looking forward to it.

“Mhm, I would love the help.” When Elaxi reached for the brush she handed it over. Once her nice had it in hand she gave a whistle to call the beast back over to them. Perhaps they could finish a bit early and she could take the girl out for a treat to make her feel even better.
