Her eyes moved to the side so she could view her friend. With the plans for travel laid out she nodded her head. “That will be a fun journey. Just be careful.” The mainland was huge from what she was told. Much larger than Yael. And she hadn’t even explored a fraction of Yael yet. “Make sure you have plenty of supplies.”

“I’ll make sure.” She reassured her friend. “Once I cross the ocean I’ll stop for supplies.” She would need to anyways. The trip across would see her using most of her food since she wasn’t sure what was served on a ship. Or if she would even get enough food while she was on one. The last time she hadn’t really liked the food served. “Ships aren’t my favorite source of food so I will eat what I have in my bag.”

She laughed at knowing ships weren’t the best for food. “I’ll remember that if I ever travel by ship.” NOt that she thought she would. “Or if I need to tell a traveler of the dangers of ship food.” That was more likely. A sister that wanted to go explore or perhaps another cousin that came through.

“Oh yes. Warn them to bring their own snacks.” She jested. “It can be very annoying when there is nothing good to eat.” Especially when they had to wait for the cook to finish making the meal for everyone. She was ashamed to admit she got impatient on more than one occasion.

“I’ll be sure to pass along the knowledge.” She nodded. As they reached the farthest point in which she was allowed to go she stopped and smiled at her friend. “Be safe and I hope you get to see each tree.” She offered a wave to send her off. She would miss her new friend but would look forward to the letters that had been promised.
