She glanced over her shoulder at the other girl for a second, trying to think of who it was she could really speak to about such a request. “Hm.. well.. I guess the ultimate authority would be the mystic.” After all it was she who spoke for their Great Mother. “But you might be able to get away with asking an elder.” Since they often times approved things it could be possible.

She nodded. That made sense. The mystic would be the one to ask for all things regarding the Mother Tree just as it was for her own village. “Right..” She fidgeted a little. Meeting mystics made her nervous. Mostly because they were so special and she was most definitely not. “Any chance I could get an introduction?”

She paused for a second as the other asked to be introduced. “Well sure.. Just not from me.” She laughed a little. “I’m not old enough to know the mystic personally, and I try not to get into too much trouble so she doesn’t know me by name.” Wouldn’t that just be a nightmare. She made another ‘follow me’ motion as she started to walk again. “I’ll see if my mother can take you.”

She stopped when the girl stopped, though she almost plowed right into her. Her eyes blinked a few times as she nodded in understanding. It wasn’t like she expected the girl who was currently her guide to be able to take her right up to the mystic and introduce her anyways. However, she was grateful when she presented another option. “Oh thank you. Is your mother nice?” She asked as she began to follow once again.

“Sometimes.” She said as she brought the girl to the edge of the village. “Usually if she’s in a good mood then it’s not so bad.” She lifted one hand and made a sweeping motion to show off the village. “Ta-da. Welcome to Zinris. Try not to get into too much trouble.” She grinned then started to lead the way to her own home so that they could talk to her mother.
