Knowing he wouldn't be faced with a small hoard for a first meeting made him feel a little better. Tiam had no issues with doing so if that was what Zota intended but he made no promises about not being an absolute nervous wreck. He often worried about being good enough for her in the eyes of her family.

"I'll be sure to make the best meal for you." He'd also have to clean up a bit. He'd been so busy lately that he'd neglected that chore.

As he sat beside her, Tiam reached over with one hand to hold Zota's gently. "Id love to meet them whenever you want me to."

She was relieved to see no big reaction from Tiam's mother at the news. Her own family though... she still had to sit down with them to let them know before bringing him to meet them. Syqvara's comment earned a chuckle. "I would not trade my siblings for anything, but I am sure there were benefits to growing up without a hoard in your home."

She gave Tiam's hand a gentle squeeze in return with a warm smile. "I will make sure you get to meet them soon. I promise. In the meantime, we can talk further on your kitchen abilities. What sorts of meals did you two like preparing the most when you were younger? What should I be looking forward to?"
